Chapter 17 💜

Amara woke up and fixed herself for school but what she didn't know is that today was not like Monday. She entered the classroom with Gerald's presence and that made her smile.

"Jay and Luke saved us a seat, let's go Amara!" Lena said pulling Amara's hands

As Amara was being pulled to their seats, she saw Gerald in his usual spot which put a smile on Amara's face because Gerald was no longer sick.

Classes started and Amara can't help but think of how she will apologize to Gerald however when class ended Luke quickly stood up.

"Let's go, we got news to tell!" Luke said

"What?" Lena asked

"We will tell you in the cafeteria let's go!" Luke replied

With that Amara could not apologize to Gerald yet.

They were sitting in the cafeteria with the food they ordered.

"So, what were you gonna say?" Lena asked

"We're just reminding you guys the game this Saturday will start at 9 am will you girls be there?" Luke asked

"Of course, we are, that's not even a question!" Lena replied

"Right Amara?" Lena added

"Yeah, we wouldn't want to miss that day!" Amara said

"Great for sure Jay is gonna show off if you girls will be attending the game!" Luke said

"We got to make a poster Amara!" Lena said

"You don't have to do that." Jay said

"Nonsense we will be doing just that right Amara!" Lena said with sparkles in her eyes.

Amara couldn't say no to Lena when they already planned to cheer Luke and Jay for their game, and she was also not ready to apologize to Gerald yet, so she decided to prepare herself and do it tomorrow.

"Yeah and we're gonna make it pretty and big so everyone can see the poster!" Amara replied

"Yayyyy let's do it at my home. I have everything we need to make a poster!" Lena said

"Sure, I'll just chat my parents later and we can start later." Amara said

"You're the best Amara!" Lena said hugging her

With that they agreed to the banner making and they continued to eat and went back to eating then to the classroom. After a few hours classes ended they packed their stuff Amara looking behind and Gerald was no longer there. With that Luke and Jay accompanied Lena and Amara to the campus gate before going to practice. Amara asked permission from her parents while walking to Lena's house.

Oh, he has some papers to finish today so he's very busy
