Chapter 21 💜

"Alright all set, let's hide our shoes somewhere, turn off the lights and hide in the living room." Violet instructed

With that the girls turned the lights off and hid for a few minutes until they arrived.

Luke and Jay removed their shoes then opened the lights to the living room when the girls popped up and surprised the men. Luke immediately drops his bag and runs to Violet to hug her tightly.

"Why are you here I thought you had plans today?" Luke asked while still hugging his girlfriend

"I do but you never asked with who and where and here I am with my friends in your house as my plan for the day." Violet answered looking at Luke's eyes smiling

"If you told me we would have come home sooner." Luke said

"Then we won't be able to finish-" Amara stopped before she spoils the surprise

"Sorry." Amara apologized

"Hahahaha well that just throws the surprise but at least Luke was shocked. It's ok Amara." Lena comforted

"What surprise?" Luke asked

Lena covered her mouth for spoiling.

"Well, I guess I have to teach you how to keep a surprise a secret." Violet said

"Let's go eat, we cooked lunch for everyone." Violet added

"Really?" Luke asked

"Yup good thing there's ingredients left in the ref." Violet said

"Please come visit with Violet as many times as you want, I welcome you to my home." Luke said to Lena and Amara

"Just because you can't cook doesn't mean others will cook for you." Jay said as he elbowed Luke

"Hey! You'll never know plus I get to see my girlfriend, have cooked food, and be with friends. It's a win win if you ask me." Luke said

"Let's go eat before the food gets cold." Amara said

"Wait, the food is still on the stove. I'll get it." Lena said

But before Lena could get it Jay was already holding the pot.

"Thank you." Lena said

They ate at the table chatting and laughing until everyone was done eating Luke and Jay insisted on washing the dishes and cleaning the table.

"So, while we wait for them, do you want to see our pictures?" Violet suggested

"YES!" Lena and Amara said

Time passed as they were flipping through the album and the boys finished the dishes and went back to the living room. Luke quickly hugged Violet and sat beside her. They were on the carpet from left to right was Violet, Luke, Amara, Lena, and Jay. The girls continued flipping the albums of the friends while the boys came to listen and look. After a few minutes they closed the album and talked.

"How long have you been here?" Luke asked

"Hmmm~ maybe 10 something." Violet said thinking

"You should say next time we could have gone home early." Luke said

"Nope we would have cut practice to be here." Jay stated

"I thought you were on my side." Luke said

"Well, I wouldn't be here if it weren't for Amara and Lena." Violet said

"I give you permission to come here every weekend." Luke stated

Lena and Amara giggled

"We just wanted to have a chat, but Violet wanted to do it here and we are very fine with that." Lena said
