.

Two weeks have passed since the Vision Hunt Decree was abolished with immediate effect, as the nation of Eternity continues its recovery after the year-long civil war.

As for our protagonist, with no way back to the mainland, he and Paimon decide to fully enjoy and explore more of this nation without worrying about a bounty on their head.

However, that hasn't stopped Lucius from solving key Inazuman issues.

One such issue was the Tataragami in the Mikage Furnace in Tatarasuna. With the help of a consultant from Fontaine named Xavier, Lucius was able to purify the Tatarigami Core that powers the facility, bringing the furnace back to normal functionality.

Another issue that Lucius solved was the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual, where they met a masked shrine maiden named Kazari, who asks Lucius if he can help with the ritual, which he agrees to do so. Lucius swiftly completes the rituals in Araumi, Kamisato Estate and Chinju Forest while also meeting a Bake-Danuki sealed in stone named Ioroi along the way.

After breaking the five barriers and purging the evil within each, Kazari and Lucius head over to the roots of the Sacred Sakura in the depths of Mt. Yougou and defeats the Miasmic Tumor. Upon purging the tumour, Kazari revealed that she is filth condensed from the memory of the Kitsune Saiguu, and that in order to complete the ritual, all the filth must be cleansed, herself being no exception. With no other way, Lucius bitterly says goodbye to Kazari who dissipates, leaving only her mask as a memory.

In honour of her memory, Lucius decides to place her mask right next to the hairpin that Ayaka gave him on his bedside table.

.

Another day has shined down on the nation of Eternity as Lucius and Paimon approach Thoma talking to two people by the Statue of the Omnipresent God.

Paimon: It's good to see Thoma enjoying his freedom.

Lucius: What do you expect? He was stuck inside Komore Teahouse for a month or so.

Paimon: Yeah, that's true. But anyways, we haven't talked to him in a while.

Lucius: We have been busy in the last few days... with the whole Tatarasuna stuff, and the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual.

Paimon: (sigh) Man, Paimon does wonder when we'll get to leave Inazuma.

Lucius: Heh, you that desperate to leave?

Paimon: That's not what Paimon meant! Paimon meant that with the Sakoku Decree still in effect, we can't leave unless we take the Crux Fleet again.

Lucius: (sigh) We can't do much, just knuckle down and enjoy the now peaceful Inazuma.

As the two approach Thoma, they could overhear the conversation.

Thoma: If the Tenryou Commission won't assist in dealing with the thunderstorm, the consequences could be catastrophic.

Kamaji: It's not that we're unwilling to do our part. We just don't have any spare hands right now. I hope you can understand.

Ippei: Exactly. So let's keep the discussion going, and see if we can find a solution.

Paimon: Hey, Thoma! What's going on?

Paimon shouts out unnecessarily given the already close distance.

Thoma: Ah, hello you two. We were just talking about what an impact you've made in Inazuma.
