Crimson Eyes {{Katsuki Bakugo X Reader}}

Today is the day of  the UA entrance exam. I'm nervous, but my dad has been pep talking me all week. As i sit at the breakfast table trying to eat a light but energizing breakfast, he starts in on another one.

"Ok Skully, today is the big day! You nervous?" I nod my head slowly and he continues. "Its understandable, but remember how far you've come in just a few months, both physically and mentally.  You are so much stronger now in everyway. Just stick to what you know, and you'll do great." He flashed me a warm smile, which I gladly returned. "Just be your best and you wont fail!" He said with a thumbs up.

"Thanks Dad," i said while finishing my breakfast. "I gotta get going so I can make it on time, I'll see you later?" I asked hopefully.

"Of coarse!"

I walked up the UA and a knot formed in my stomach. It was so huge! Many hopefully students walked by me. I saw a familiar ashy blonde hair walking into the building and my breathing hitched. Maybe if I was cautious enough I could avoid him. As i started to walk down the pathway, I saw another familiar puff of hair.

"Izuku!" I gasped running up to my broccoli haired friend. He was all flustered looking, but as soon as he saw me he started to relax.

"(y/n)! It's you!" he cried, embracing me in a tight hug. "I missed you!!"

"I missed you too!" I said, trying not to get emotional. We texted a bunch sense i left, but never saw each other. "Izuku have you been bulking up?" I asked as we pulled away. He definitely felt more muscular.

"oh, well, yeah..." he admitted sheepishly. "I've been working hard to be able to do this!" I smiled at him.

"Me too! Lets do our best!"

We walked in and then parted ways to go to our assigned seating. Thankfully I was all the way in the back where Kacchan couldn't see me, and I trusted Izuku not to say anything. As Present Mic went on about the exams, i looked over my exam card. I was starting to get a whirlwind of anxiety building up in me for Multiple reasons. I quickly exited the assembly room when the speech was over. I rushed to change then headed to my exam location. I carefully scanned all the faces of everyone I could see, and didnt recognize and single person. I sighed in relief. I started to stretch a little and pop any joints that felt stiff. As soon as we got the declaration to start I lightened my bones for optimum speed and rushed in. I wasn't going to fail!

Its been a little bit sense I took the exam and I was starting to get a little nervous. I hadn't heard anything. I sat at my desk in my room mindlessly looking over notes from classes. I wasn't able to actually focus on them due to all the thoughts stirring in my head. I suddenly got pulled from my daze when I heard a soft knock at the door.

"Come in!' I called, knowing it was my dad.

"hey SKully," he held up a sealed envelope. "Shall we see?" My eyes widened. I recognized the UA seal on it. I nodded and followed him down to the living room. He placed it on the coffee table and we sat down side by side on the couch, both of us staring it down with anticipation. I looked up at my dad nervously, and he gave me a confident nod. I grabbed the white envelope and carefully opened it so I didnt rip anything. I slowly opened the letter and held my breath, expecting the worst. My started to read every word carefully, and then there it was. I started to cry due to overwhelming emotions.

"What is it?! What did it say?!" my father asked frantically.

"I did it! I did it dad! I had the second highest scores and im in!" i cried. He wrapped his arms around me and we shared a tight hug. We pulled away and he patted my head.

"good job Skully, I knew you could do it." He beamed. I giggled with excitement. I was finally going to get a truly fresh start towards becoming a hero!
