((a/n: Hello! Hi! Good day! i first want to thank everyone who has been reading this story. seriously. thank you so much. Secondly, I AM SO SORRY FOR A SUPER SLOW UPDATE T^T I was horribly sick with the C-19 for a literal month, then the holidays kept me busy. Now I babysit my niece regularly AND i moved. Way too much tbh i need a chill pill or something. so i am so sorry!! I'm going to genuinely try to make up for it. But i hope you are well and here is a new chapter :') ))

I stared my bedroom ceiling down while laying back on my bed. Dad had left for work not long after I had gotten home from school. I was excited for the sports festival, but i couldn't focus my thoughts on to that. Ever sense leaving the UA campus for the day my mind would wonder to thoughts of Shoto, but then would be replaced with thoughts of Kacchan. Then theyd go back to Shoto, back to Kacchan, and so forth. It was giving me a slight headache. SHoto is my boyfriend. Kacchan is my friend. So then... why...? I felt a weird feeling in my chest when i told myself to not think of Kacchan as more than a friend. I know we got close at the end of high school, but then I left. Now in college he said he wanted to rebuild trust. So thats what we're doing right? Its ok for me to be with Shoto. Kacchan didn't say he wanted to date me. Shoto did. So I did nothing wrong... yet i still feel like something is... unexplainable. I sighed, getting a little frustrated at these unreadable feelings. My phone buzzed signaling i got a text message.

Kacchan: Hey

I felt my heart skip a beat seeing his text.

Kacchan: I'm coming over. You need to start training for the sports festival to even think of having a chance.

Of coarse. Right. He's looking out for me. His friend. I don't need to get flustered over that. Friend training with friend. I got up and stripped out of my uniform, applied extra deodorant, and changed into my workout clothes- shorts and a comfy crop top (so i dont destroy a tshirt with my quirk) and pulled my hair into a bun. As i headed down stairs I heard Kacchan knocking on my front door. I opened it with a smile. He had his usual grouchy look, but his eyes softened once he met mine. I felt a flutter within my heart, but quickly tried to push it away.

"Hey Kacchan! Come on in!" I stepped aside allowing him in then shut the door. "So what were you thinking as far as training?" I asked.

"Physical training and endurance. We'll stay in your back yard for now. You need to be prepared for anything." I nodded with a determined grin.

"You're right!" we started walking towards the sliding door to my backyard. "I need to be able to beat everyone! Even you!" I started to laugh as I ran into his back. He had stopped at the door.

"Like hell I'll let you beat me," He side tossing me a devious smile over his shoulder. I couldnt help but giggle as we continued into the backyard. "Alright. Lets start with some stretches." He said, puling his arm across his chest. He lead me through some really good stretches, some i hadn't tried before. "I guess that quirk of you keeps you flexible," he mumbled, making sure my posture was correct as i stretched my back. I nodded.

"Yeah, it does." then i thought of a funny way to mess with him. "it's great in the bedroom too." His face turned red so quickly it startled me.
