"Skully... Skully..."
I knew that voice...
"Skully... Sweetie..."
It was a woman's voice.. so soft and warm..
I looked around me, And saw i was in a field of nothing but beautiful flowers. I looked down and i was in a flowy white dress and barefoot. I lifted my hands up to inspect. My cuts from earlier were there, making frown. Where was i..?
"Skully..." The voice called again. I looked up and there was a beautiful woman standing in front of me. She was a little taller than me, with long hair the same color as mine. She had large eyes that radiated nothing but kindness and love. They too were the same color as mine. Her delicate freckles decorated her face, and her welcoming smile was more bright than a sunny day. She wore a flowing white dress as well, and had an aura around her, as if she was lit from within.
"mom.." I breathed out in disbelief. She opened her arms and I immediately ran into them, wrapping my arms tightly around her and sobbing into her chest. "Mom.. I missed you so much. Where are we? Why are you here? What's going on and why-"
"skully," she softly said, brushing her hand down my hair. I looked up at her. There was a twinge of sadness in her eyes now. "skully why did you hurt yourself?" My face dropped. I felt ashamed.
"i... i felt so empty. So alone. I wanted to feel something, anything. But i also just... I didnt want to try anymore. I thought maybe if i could feel something.. then maybe i'd be ok.."
"oh, sweetie," her face softening. "I'm so sorry. You've always carried so much on yourself, and never let anyone know. From being without me, to being isolated because of your quirk, being so shy... I'm sorry."
"But.. it's not your fault mom!" I cried back. "mom... are we in..?"
"Not quiet. It's the realm between the living and the passed. I came to see you. To talk." My jaw dropped some in shock. I released her, letting it sink in. She tenderly grabbed my hand. "Lets walk." We started to walk in a random direction. "So, you got into the UA college?"
"How did you know?!" i gasped.
"Skully, I always have eyes on you and your father." My face flushed some.
"A-always..?" She raised a suspicious eyebrow, but let out a friendly chuckle.
"i know when to look away. LIke when you had that Katsuki Bakugo boy over in high school. Or Shoto Todoroki tonight." I nervous laughed, causing her to laugh for a second. After she calmed down, she continued. "i know its been a hard time without me. Ten is quite a hard age to lose someone at. I'm so sorry (y/n). It was my time, but it was too soon at the same time. But watching you grow up from above and become such a beautiful young woman fills my heart with pride. You've grown stronger too. And now you are making new friends that care for you, like Izuku Midoriya always has. And Katsuki Bakugo."
"Izuku Yes. Kacchan... no.." i solemnly admitted. She huffed.
"Skully, that boy cares very deeply for you. But hes conflicted with a lot. He doesnt even understand his own feelings in the slightest. You should try helping him."
"I... I can't mom. Not after all of this." Suddenly shoto's face flashed in my head. "I can talk to Shoto though! He's understanding. He's kind and gentle." I looked up at her and she had an unreadable expression.
"Do what your heart tells you is right. It won't steer you wrong. You'll know what i mean when the time comes."
"when the time comes?"
