"you did good, Skully."
My heart thumped loudly as he walked out. I knew i was a blushing mess but i couldnt contain it. Damn you Kacchan... I allowed my face to cool before i headed back out to the seating. Also, what the hell did he mean by he expected more? I guess i'll figure something out. Jeez. I need a nap...
Kacchan and Shoto won their following matches and it was now their turn to face off. My body was over flowing with anticipation for this final battle. I knew this badly would be a dramatic one, seeing as theyre both so strong. And given everything from today, who knows what will happen. Kacchan's face looked intense with determination and he had a borderline deranged smile plastered across it. Shoto was the opposite, stoic as ever.
Shoto POV
I released my large scale ice attack on Bakugo in an attempt to trap him in. He wasn't that easy though as he quickly released strong blasts and broke out. He lunged at me, grabbing me in the process. I was flung across the ring, but used my ice to stop me and navigate around him. He attempted to reach for me, but i grabbed his arm. I started to release my fire, but my father yelled. I stopped the attack and just ended up flinging Bakugo instead. It clearly frustrated him. My mind was swirling with everything that had happened today. My father, Midoriya, and (y/n). I was so conflicted with every emotion I felt. Bakugo yelled at me, saying he's kill me if i made a food out of him. Was that what he thought was going on? He wanted to be the undisputed winner.
"I want there to be no doubt that i'm the best in this festival! I can only do that if you come at me as hard as you can! Use the power you used on Deku with me! If you dont want to win then why are you here?!" He charged at me with pure rage. I reflected on my match with Midoriya. I felt so unsure. Did i do the right thing? (y/n) crossed my mind again, and once more i asked if i did the right thing. I let her go, and i know he will take her. I used my fire, despite wanting to reject my father. Everything was overwhelming my thoughts. What did my left side mean to me? What did she mean to me? I-
"Todoroki! C'mon! Do your best!" Midoriya shouted from the stands. I looked up briefly and saw him cheering me on. Behind him, I saw (y/n) He beautiful (h/c) hair lightly blowing around as he large (e/c) eyes stared down Bakugo and me. What do i do? I felt the conflict within me grow, the frustration. My left ignited as Bakugo flew closer. He was gathering momentum. I was ready to fight, But then i froze. Mother. Father. (y/n). Midoriya. Father. Mother.
I lowered my arm, my flames depleting.
Bakugo hit me with his Howitzer Impacted, and it was over.
I saw my mother. I saw (y/n)'s smiling face.
It all went black.
(y/n) POV
I looked on in fear and concern as Kacchan hit Shoto with an monster of a blast. Shoto had given up. As the cloud of dust cleared, we all saw what had become of the match. My eyes darting between the two. Kacchan finally saw, and i could see the rage burst out from within him. Shoto was laid against the ice wall unmoving. Kacchan shakily lifted himself up and started to head towards Shoto, his voice carrying frustration. He grabbed the unconscious Shoto.
