As I walked up to UA to start another day, i was met with a certain bubbly pink face waiting for me.

"Hey (y/n!)" Mina called out. I smiled at her and hurried over. "Let's walk to class together! Its kinda boring walking by yourself, you know" She linked arms with me. I couldnt help but feel a little excited. I had never had a friend that was a female, so it was refreshing. Over the past two weeks we had become really comfortable with each other and it was honestly great. "So anyways, what do you think will be instore for class today? Hopefully nothing boring."

"Yeah, hopefully," I chuckled. "I wonder when we'll finally get to see or wear our hero suits." She got a sly smile on her face, and checked her surroundings before leaning in close and whispering,

"I heard a rumor it might be this week."

"Really?" I asked in excitement.

"I know right? Super exciting." We continued talking over random subjects as we made our way to class. When we arrived there was only a small handful of students in the class room. There was the tall guy named Iida that has been hanging out with izuku, Jiro (who was zoned into something on her phone), a guy with a bird head that i think was named Tokoyami, and a boy in the back that sat near me. I couldn't remember his name, but he had half red and half white hair with a scar over the side with red hair. He seemed very distant, but i he had a strong quirk in the quirk assessment test. Oh yeah! His name was Todoroki! I should probably remember that sense i sit so close to him. Mina walked over to my desk with me, going on about some dress she saw on the way home yesterday that she just "had to have". I couldn't help but giggle at her enthusiasm as i sat down. She sat down on top of my desk.

"what kind of clothes do you wear outside of here?" she asked me. I pondered it for a minute.

"Um.. i guess just normal ones. I'm generally in whatever is comfy," i replied honestly. I didn't really know how to classify my style, but calling it "basic" felt wrong. She started to talk about how we should go shopping together soon while i started getting my belongings ready for the day. Then i realized something.

"oh fuck me..." I whispered under my breath, catching mina's attention.

"damn (y/n) i know we're chill and all but I'm not looking for hookups right now, sorry girly," she chuckled at her own dumb joke. "But what wrong?"

"I left my pencil pouch at home," I frowned. I left it on my desk last night accidentally because i was adding a new pen into it. "I literally have nothing to write with." I sighed in frustration. "Mr Aizawa wont be happy.." Mina started rummaging through her back, then looked at me with slight guilt.

"Sorry girl, I only brought my one pencil." I gave her an appreciative smile. 

"Thank you for trying," I sighed. Suddenly Todoroki tapped my shoulder. I caught me off guard and i jumped a little. 

"here," he said in a blank tone. He was holding a pen out in his hand. I felt a my cheeks get a little warm at his kind gesture.

"T-thank you todoroki," I said weakly. I mentally cursed myself for being so shy with new people... at least Mina could make me feel normal. He gave a slight nod of his head before returning to his desk.

"well that was nice of him," mina chuckled. "see (y/n), theres no need to be shy in this class! We go each others backs!" I smiled up at her. Iida then clued in to the fact she was on my desk and starting going on about how she was "disrespecting the alumni of the students who graced the desks before us".

The day ended up being rather mundane. We had boring classes all day, but at least we had a good lunch room. I sat with mina and the other girls. I felt anxious eating in front of them, i didnt want to come across sloppy trying to inhale the delicious meal.. Tsu had asked if i didn't like my food because of the slow pace, so i confessed my troubles. They were beyond understanding, which helped my nerves quite a bit. On the way back to class Mina asked if I wanted to hangout after school. I quickly texted my dad (who was very enthusiastic about me having a female friend) then confirmed my plans with mina. As the school day finally drew to an end i felt excited for my first hangout with a girl. Our class started to trickle out of the room. I was packing up my belongings, I felt a presence beside me. I looked up and it was Todoroki.
