~Bakugo's POV~
I walked home alone after calming (y/n) down. I made sure she was ok and that she locked up after i left. I was in a bad mood now. It pissed me the fuck off. That fucking half n half bastard gets to call himself her boyfriend, then flips out over something so small? Who would do that to her? I would nev- I froze. I can't say that. I did it to her too. Dammit! I'm such a fucking idiot! I slammed the front door of my house, kicking off my shoes.
"Dammit, Katsuki! Quit slamming doors you brat!"
"Shut it, Hag!" i wasn't in the mood for a lecture.
"What was that?! You ungrateful little-" my mother stopped when she saw the look on my face. She took a deep breath. "Trouble with (y/n)?" I fucking hate how she can read me like a book. I looked down at the floor, to frustrated and ashamed to respond. She placed a gentle hand on my shoulder. "Let's talk about it, son." We walked into the kitchen and she started making us some tea while i slumped into a chair. She set the hot cup down in front of me and took the seat across the table from me. I staired into the steaming liquid. "So what happened?" I rolled my eyes and let out a 'Tch'.
"Her fucking 'boyfriend' being a prick." I heard her sigh.
"Is (y/n) ok first of all?"
"She is now."
"So what happened?" I huffed in frustration before deciding to tell the whole story.
"So you know she started dating this half n half bastard. Shoto or whatever. So apparently he got huffy over her having some fun with a friend, then later got pissy with her for not wanting to be super public right now about their relationship. She apparently tried to explain that it was due to her anxiety with... the past." I grimaced at that memory. "But he was still a bit of a dick and made her have a panic attack. I happened to call at the right time on my way home. So I hurried over and was able to help her calm the fuck down." My mom nodded her head, following along.
"That's good you could help her." I rolled my eyes at her. Her eyebrow twitched in annoyance as she continued. "It sounds like this Shoto guy doesn't realize what he's got. That aside, how are you?"
"I'm fine," I spat. I was lying. I felt like a wreck.
"Tell the truth Katsuki."
"I- I dont know! Damn it! This is fucking frustrating!" I slammed my fist into the table. "Why she is with some unappreciative fucker like him?! He will break her heart! Probably more than once! And knowing her she'll allow it! Why does she have to be with him?! Why him?! I love h-" I froze. I had sworn to myself i would never say that.
"You love her," the old hag finished for me. I looked away, slumping back into my seat.
"So what?"
"Dumbass." I shot a glare at the woman across from me. "She clearly has feelings for you, and has for a long time." I scoffed.
"Then whys shes with some prick?" She rolled her eyes as if the answer was obvious.
"She's confused. I'm willing to place money on the fact she'll realize it soon. At that point, she'll know how she feels and either chose you or Shoto."
