Song: Savin' Me, by Nickelback.
His dad would not say sorry, because the man was proud, the man was defiant, the man was dramatic, the man was shameless, the man was his father, not anybody else. The man would rather be shot than look at his wounds and puke. Traviz understood that face, that painful expression, that feeling of begging for an end. An end that would never come, because he was bound to suffer, and life was a punishment. That man was bound to feel the pain, not to go to hell and burn quickly. Traviz was immortal, and so was that man. Because they were the same shit. Two men that would never beg for mercy, under tears, under the ridiculous. They'd just ask for their opponents to have the courage and shoot the fucking bullet on their heads. And they'd never win, they'd never die. Because they were both stupid.
"You never did the right thing, why would I?" Traviz shot two more bullets on each knee, feeling suddenly hilarious and about to go berserk, boil the cold blood and explode. "Did you know that I earn my own fucking money, dad? Just like you. You sell cigarettes for idiot people, I sell drugs for freaks. I win. Aren't you proud of me?"
The man would not stay shut, of course. So typical. "Are you on drugs?"
"I don't need them. I go crazy sober. Dad, you drank so much I go crazy sober. I'm the shit, ain't I?"
"Son..." Christian was on the verge of tears. "I'm sorry..."
Traviz pointed at his father's chest and pulled a loosened trigger. There was no bullet left. Enraged, Traviz threw the gun right over his dad's stomach and walked away, no guards, no dogs, nothing chasing him.
"Traviz, wait, get back..." his dad begged, voice crumbling. "I'm sorry, son, p-please don't go..."
Don't cry, don't cry, don't-
"Son, I love you, please don't g-go..."
"FUCK YOU!"
