8 Y/O:

Traviz didn't bother going upstairs to see their sex. Not interested. But that night, in the end, he went upstairs. And he wished he didn't. Actually, he wished he had done something else there, 'cause all he did was stay frozen.

They were fighting. Daddy had a bottle of beer in one hand, and he was so angry, shouting at mom. She was angry as well, and crying. Traviz immediately felt desperate. No, no. They were screaming too much, and mom threw things on daddy, and daddy said a lot of words that his friends used to say. Traviz was about to shout of terror, when dad suddenly grabbed mom by her throat and threw her at the wall. Daddy was so angry. She fell on the floor and cried. Traviz thought daddy would say sorry ('cause mom always said that a good boy must say sorry whenever he beats someone or something), but daddy didn't. Instead, he kicked her one, two, three, four, five... On her head, belly, shoulder... Traviz stood frozen, trembling from head to toe. No, daddy... Then, daddy threw the bottle of glass on momma. It shattered on her, and then he kicked her again. Yelling and angry, dad walked out the room, seconds after Traviz hid himself in the wardrobe. He heard daddy going outside and driving away, steering wheels.

For a few minutes, Traviz stood hidden on the wardrobe, shocked. But then he heard her sob. Momma was still crying. Desperate, Traviz opened the wardrobe with a lot of strength and ran towards his mom, who was still on the floor, lying with her back at the wall.

As Traviz approached her, he saw her leg was bleeding. A piece of glass had stratched her skin. He kneeled. 'Momma..' She raised her head 'Oh, honey. Oh, no, no... Honey, get back to bed. Please, darling.' 'Momma, no! You're bleeding!! Why daddy di-' 'Baby, don't worry, momma's fine... Please get back to bed...' she coughed. Her hands were bleeding even more. 'Momma...' Traviz started crying, shocked and terrified. Seeing her son shedding tears of despair, she held Traviz close to her. 'Oh, baby... Shhh, shh... It's alright, it was just an accident. I'm so sorry, Trav. I'm so sorry...' 'Why are you saying sorry???' Traviz raised his head, indignant. 'Daddy didn'- 'No, no, darling. Daddy is fine. He's just a bit tired, okay? Momma's too. It's nothing, dear.' 'BUT YOU'RE BLEEDING!!!' Traviz shouted, running his hands over his mom's blood. 'Yes, but momma's gonna be fine... Get back to bed, please. Please obey momma. Daddy will soon get back, you can't-' she suddenly stopped, and started crying again. 'Oooh, honey... I'm sorry... It's all my fault... Here, stay with me, okay? It's alright, it's alright... Everything's gonna be fine... I love you so much, Trav... So much...' Traviz just couldn't relax, though. 'Mom, you have to go to hospital!' She vigorously shook her head 'No, no. I'm fine. Listen, momma wants your help. Can you help me, honey?' Traviz trembled, wondering what he'd have to do. 'Go fetch a box in the yellow shelf, in the kitchen. I want you to help me do a curative, here...'

Traviz jumped away and flew downstairs; he almost tripped. With the hands shaking and grabbing the aid-kit, he got back to his mom.
