Eiji Kikumaru's P.O.V
I walked up to Y/n's house with Oishi and heard the sounds of a ball being hit back and forth. I looked over at Oishi before continuing forwards. I stopped as I saw her and Ryoga playing a match in her yard. It was a brand new court and brand new materials.
"She practices after matches?" Oishi said, questioning his eyes.
"Yep," I replied.
"Hey, what are you two doing here?" Echizen asked as he came up behind me, causing me to jump five feet in the air, literally. I pressed a hand on my heart with a fake look of hurt and attack.
"You're here too, Echizen? I didn't think I'd see you here," Oishi said.
Echizen shrugged, looking forwards at Ryoga and Y/n playing a one set match.
"I'm coming here to see my friend that I haven't seen in three years," he said. "No. I'm actually here to spy on them and then kill Y/n," he drawled sarcastically.
"Oi, Y/n, Ryoga!" Echizen shouted, waving his racket at them to get their attention as he moved forwards towards the court.
"Ryoma!" Y/n said.
"Y/n," Echizen replied smoothly. "Kikumaru-senpai and Oishi-senpai are watching you two play. They're behind those bushes." He pointed in the direction we were still standing.
"We weren't spying!" I shouted as I jumped out, waving my hands everywhere. "I swear! We weren't spying! Chibi distracted us!"
"I didn't accuse you of anything," Y/n said with a wry smile.
"Good!" I shouted again. "'Cause I didn't do anything!"
"Eiji," Oishi said. "Come on. Let's go watch."Y/N's P.O.V
I smiled to myself as I watched Kikumaru-senpai freak out about getting caught watching us. I didn't mind if he watched us. Him or Oishi-senpai.
"Oi, Ryoga," I called, picking my racket up again. "I want to watch you an Ryoma play a match. Ryoma?" I asked.
"Hai," Ryoma said quietly, picking up his racket and moving to one side of the court, stretching thoroughly before I staretd the match adn climbed intoteh referee's chair.
"One set match. Ryoma to serve!" I called. Ryoma nodded and brought out a ball from his pocket, throwing it into the air and serving a twist.
"Nada, chibisuke," Ryoga said with a smirk. "That doesn't work on me."
"The last time we played a serious match was three years ago when Y/n was with us," Ryoma retorted. "I've picked up a few more new thing since then."
"You're not the only one!" Ryoga shouted. Slamming the ball into the ground, causing it to blast up and nearly hit Ryoma in the face.
Ryoma gritted his teeth and then pushed back even harder than before, pulling otu a bunch of new moves I haven't seen him use before. But then again, we were gone for three years. It makes sense that I don't know all of their moves yet.
"5-3."
"5-4."
"6-5. Game to Ryoga!" I shouted.
The two boys were tired. Like, a lot. They collapsed onto my court and then fell asleep with their rackets. I sighed and ignored them.
"So, why did you two drop by?" I asked, turning my attention to Kikumaru-senpai and Oishi-senpai.
"We wanted to see what you did after you finished a match," Oishi-senpai explained.
"And I want to know why Viper gave you his bandana!" Kikumaru-senpai piped up.
"Classified," I said abruptly.
"Ooooh, are you dating him?!" Kikumaru-senpai asked excitedly.
"No," I said.
"Then why was he nice to you?" Kikumaru-senpai bugged. He was like a little kid. He was fun, cute, but can be annoying at times. Overall, he was a very nice person, kind, considerate, and loving. He can cheer someone up with just a few words or a smile if he wants to be.
"I don't know. In case you forgot, I just got here yesterday," I said with a raised eyebrow at him. He laughed and shook his head.
"Sorry," Kikumaru-senpai said.
"It's fine. You should probably leave now. I've gotta deal with these two," I said, gesturing at the two brothers on the ground.
"See you later!" Kikumaru-senpai called with a large wave as he walked away with Oishi-senpai.
I laughed to myself before helping Ryoma and Ryoga up.
"Y/n!" I heard my dad call. "Hurry up out there! And the person you were playing with better be gone! It's time for dinner!" I heard the door open and watched in silence as he stepped out in a t-shirt and shorts, holding his own racket over his shoulder with a pair of shades on.
"Y/n, are you coming?" he asked with a smile.
"One second," I replied. I snuck up to him, knowing his eyes were shut, and then I took his sunglasses off and his eyes opened. He looked up from the ground and then saw me standing beside him and then looked onto the court, seeing Ryoma and Ryoga.
"Echizens?" he asked.
"Hai," Ryoga replied. "That's us."
"Echizens!" my dad shouted, running towards them and hugging them tightly. I grinned at them and their uncomfortable faces.
"Hai . . ." Ryoma bit out as he ducked under his arm and moved to stand beside me. Ryoga remained trapped, unable to push him away because his arms ewre pinned to his side.
"Help me!" Ryoga shouted at us. "Don't leave me here!" I clicked my tongue at him and then walked into my house with Ryoma, leaving Ryoga with my dad.
A few minutes later, Ryoga came in fixing his hair with my dad talking nonstop to him about random stuff. I think he just ignored him.
"Dad, dinner?" I asked.
"Oh, yes!" he said with a fist in the air. "I have enough for all of you if the two of you would like to stay. Maybe even invite your family over for dinner tonight."
They both looked hesitant at that idea. I poked Ryoga in the back and he turned.
"Alright. Fine. And I'll make sure he's dressed appropriately," Ryoga said with a barely audible sigh afterwards. I poked him again and he scowled.
