And then the umpire climbed into his seat.
"One set match, Shusuke Fuji and Hajime Mizuki. Fuji to serve!" the umpire called.
Fuji missed nearly every ball against Mizuki. He was playing Mizuki. Fuji was hiding his abilities from Mizuki. He was going to get him back for what had happened to Yuta and Misuki taking advantage of Yuta.
"I'll win for sure," Mizuki said, confident about winning when he was up by three games to love. I shook my head silently.
"5-love!" the umpire shouted. Fuji was losing, badly. He couldn't let Mizuki score another point.
And then Fuji sprinted across the court, returning every ball with precision and power. Extremely good accuracy and strength behind every hit and every flick of his wrist. He was angry. I don't like angry Fuji. He was scary. He hit two twist serves and scored another game.
"5-all!" the umpire called out. Fuji was making quick work of Mizuki. He made Mizuki look like an ant underneath someone's foot. Tiny, non-important, and scared. A little thing under big power. A single pest to Fuji. And then Fuji struck a hard serve.
"That's for nearly hitting Y/n," Fuji seethed as he hit a strong serve right next to Mizuki's face. "And that's for Yuta." He hit another hard serve at Mizuki.
For the rest of the game, Mizuki fought to keep up with Fuji. His data had been all wrong and he was really struggling. Like, a lot.
"Oi, Fuji-senpai!" I shouted. "Thank you!"
Fuji nodded on court so I could tell he heard me. And then he hit another serve and sealed the deal, winning the game for Seigaku.
"I don't like scary Fuji," I heard Momo whisper to Eiji.
"Hai. Scary Fuji," Eiji whispered back.
Fuji walked back to us and Eiji grinned at him.
"You did it, Fujiko!" Eiji shouted, a completely different person. I laughed at his sudden change in personalities. He held a finger up to his lips at me, signalling for me to remain quiet about what I had heard.
"Remind me never to get on your bad side, Fuji-senpai," I muttered.
"Hai. You won't. You're to kind," Fuji said. I looked up at him with wide eyes. He smiled down at me.
"FREE SUSHI AT MY PLACE!" Taka-senpai shouted, the brown haired teen leading us to his place. Kawamura Sushi.
I took a bite of the sushi and savored the spicy flavor. It was good. Ryoga looked away from his plate for a second and I nabbed some of his sushi and shoved it into my mouth. He caught me as I shoved it into my mouth.
"What was that for?!" Ryoga complained loudly. "That was mine!"
"SPICY!!!!!!" Momo and Eiji shouted, running around the floor like they were on fire.
I laughed with Ryoga.
"Hey, Momo, here's some good sushi. It might calm your mouth down," I shouted, tossing him a piece of wasabi sushi, knowing full well he hated it.
He took a bite and then stared screaming at me.
"SPICY!!!!!!!!" Momo screamed again, not calming down until he had drank an entire gallon of milk. He finally relaxed and laid back in his chair with his eyes closed. I picked up his cup and dumped it over his head. His eyes flew open and he shouted in shock.
I laughed. Our victory sushi night was amazing. I now have multiple photos of multiple people on my team. Even Kaido. I think Kaido secretly likes me even though he'll never admit it. And I mean likes me as a friend, not as a love. Besides, I already have my eyes set on someone else.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket as I got a text. "Sorry, guys. I've gotta go!" I called, running out the door. Ryoga had already left a little bit before. I was going to join him.
That night we binge watched horror movies in Japanese and then I ended up falling asleep on him and he ended up falling asleep with his chin on my head. I swear I heard someone take a picture of us when I was sleeping.A/n
I thought Mizuki was Akaya. I get them mixed up a lot. I had to redo the entire thing. Sorry it's a bit short, but I hope you liked it.
