"So are you guys staying forever?" I asked as I ate dinner with my family on the dining table which was packed with people, Ethan said he had to get going but it was okay,it felt like a family reunion and everyone ate happily.
my aunt chuckle "No honey,buuut your cousins are staying over"
"What?!" Both I and Ari chorused.
"Oh!,I forgot to tell you Ari,you would be staying with your cousin for a while and so are your other cousins" aunt Reina said.
"Why?!!" Ari dropped her spoon and glared at her mom.
"Because we are all having a family business trip,your grandpa organized it" Uncle Fred explained.
"What of us?,aren't we part of the family?, not that I don't want to stay with my favourite cousin" Penny who was in college said and winked at me making me giggle "But I just want to know"
"Of course dear you are part of the family" Uncle Chris was the one who answered this time,wiping a napkin on the face of 3year old Sam, who attempted to stop him by using his hand to push his father's own away.
"Penny's just being paranoid" Perry, penny twin brother said.
"No I'm not" she kicked him under the table and he whimpered.
"Penny" Aunt Dian Penny's mother scolded.
"Sorry"
"But you're gonna leave me again?" Both me and Ari said at the same time but she said it to her mom and I said it to Dad,we looked at each other oddly.
"I know,but that's why I arranged for your cousins to be with you" My dad said.
"So this is basically your fault" Ari said bitterly.
"I don't see how it's my fault you have that attitude of yours" I threw back at her.
"I can't stay here" she said
"Well you have to,you can't get everything you want princess" I added a lot of sarcasm on that princess part.
"But you seem to get what you always want" she mumbled and walked away.
"ARI!!" Aunt Reina shouted after her.
"Sylvia" Dad said.
"What?, she was being rude,she deserved it" No one answered, they all just looked at me as if I was the guilty,even Sam was looking at me. "Argh fine I'll apologize" I stood up. "I'm sick of playing the responsible one"
"And that's why you're my favourite CUZ" Penny said as I walked by her.
I stomped my way upstairs making it known I was not happy,two dogs came running towards me,one was Bailey and the other was yoyo Ari's dog which was a pitbull they both hop on me and I fell down with the two dogs licking my face. I chuckled "stop you two"
They moved off me and started running off,in a direction I hope Ari was,I stood up and brushed myself off, lead me to Ari my fellow companions, I started walking the direction they left leading me to a room where I heard Ari struggling with the two dogs.
"Argh,stop that" I heard her grumble "I can't believe mom packed my things without my permission, how did she even do it without me knowing, mothers are so annoying" she was unpacking her baggage
"At least you have one" she turned around and saw me
"What do you want now?"
"Nothing I just wanted to apologize"
"I'm not accepting your stupid apology"
"Good then I'm just going to tell them I tried and you didn't accept it"
