You sat patiently as you waited for Chloe, scrolling through your phone while waiting. Soon after you heard the cafe bell ding, signifying the door had opened. There you saw a girl with blonde hair and a pink beanie walk in, turning to look at you. She walked over to you and sat down on the chair in front of yours
"Hey there Y/N, I got your text. You called me here?" Chloe asked
"I did, and I think is a, not-so shocking discovery" You replied
"Well, what is it?" Chloe asked again
"Well..."You said as you got closer and whispered "I think Sky likes Gamma"
"What? That's impossible. You do know Gamma is my boyfriend right? Besides, isn't she your girlfriend?" Chloe asked
"She is, but mainly she's been talking more to Gamma than me" You stated
"Maybe it's because she wants to be with her kind. She's probably spent most of her life imprisoned by the CIA. You don't know how long it's been since she's seen another Protogen" Chloe said
"I know, but mainly whenever she's talking with him she just seems so...happy" You said
"Happy?"
"Yes! Happy!" You said "Like she just wants to, do something to him!" You said
Chloe eyes widened
"I...uh....I don't mean it like that. You know what I mean!" You said
"Next time, think before you speak" Chloe said
You let out a sigh
"So what do I do? What if Gamma steals my girlfriend from me?" You asked
"She won't, alright? Besides, if Sky leaves you, Gamma will probably leave me as well, then that's when I'll begin to worry" Chloe responded
You let out another sigh
"Y/N, you're a great guy. Any woman to be with you will be honored, so why would Sky not want to be with a man as talented, smart, and beautiful as you?" Chloe asked
"I guess you're right. I should go talk to her" You said
"That's the spirit buddy" Chloe said with a smile
As you got off the chair, you looked out the window to see it was snowing, stopping before you left the cafe
"It's snowing this early? Weird" You said
"Just go Y/N" Chloe said
"Right, my bad" You said as you walked out of the cafe

It was late, and small flakes of snow were still falling to the ground. You aunt and uncle had come home early today, probably due to the snow. You and Sky stayed in your room, talking to each other while eating some food Sky made, all whilst you were doing some repairs on Sky
"You're getting better at this Y/N" Sky said as you were doing a repair on her shoulder
"Yeah well, I never found robotics as my passion, but now I'm starting to consider it" You said as you grabbed a wrench and continued
A long pause
"Have you ever wondered what space is like Y/N?" Sky asked
"Not really" You responded
"It's just, a giant endless abyss. A dark, dark abyss. Nothing to await for you. Just darkness"
"I suppose you know that, you were built for going into it" You said
A slight giggle came from Sky
"Alright, done. Try it now" You said as you closed the compartment to the shoulder mechanism
Sky tried it out by moving her hand in different directions, smoothly doing so
"Better than ever! Thank you Y/N!" Sky said as she kissed you on your cheek
"No problem, happy to do so" You said "Let's head downstairs now"
As both you and Sky hopped off your bed, you walked out of your bedroom and downstairs to the kitchen, where you saw your uncle, reading the newspaper as usual
"Hey there Y/N, and Sky" He said
"Hey there uncle!" Sky said
"Oh Y/N, I've been meaning to tell you. I read a job article here, and I think some of these jobs will really suit you" Your uncle said
"Well, I don't really know. Am I ready?" You asked
"Of course you are! Besides, they won't interrupt with your school much." Your uncle said
"Yeah, whatever" You said as you walked over to the couch and sat down, Sky sitting next to you
"Maybe your uncle's right Y/N. Maybe you are ready" Sky said
"What? To work?" You asked
"Yeah, he could be onto something" Sky said
"But if I go to work, you'll be alone more often" You said
"Well at least you're doing something good. Besides, I got other people to while you're gone" Sky said
"Like who?" You asked
"Like Gamma, and....um....Gamma!" Sky said
"Why specifically Gamma?" You asked "Do you, like him?"
"What? No! Of course not!" Sky exclaimed
"Then why specifically him? There are a bunch of other people you can talk to but you chose him. Care to say why?" You said
"I don't like him Y/N, I like you" Sky said
"Then why him?"
"B-Because...." Sky stuttered "I don't want to talk about it Y/N"
"Of course you don't. Then don't talk to me until you decide why" You said, walking back upstairs
