Alondra's POV
I kept hearing someone knocking at my door but I didn't know who it was because I for one didn't invite anyone over. "what!" I yelled at the person before opening the door to Amelia
"sloan your late" she told me "I'm not! I don't start till twelve" I told her "ok I knew that I just wanted to see you" she said running up to me. she still somehow makes her rambling thing the cutest thing ever and let's not forget about those dimples now those are the best thing ever

"how may I help you melia" I asked her "well I was wondering if you wanted to do a small? tiny? favor for me" she asked me "how big is it" I asked her "I need you to help me with our new group of interns" she told me squeezing my hands with hers "and before you say "no melia" I really want you to be there so please will you do this for me" she asked me "yeah" I said "really? like actually!" she said jumping up and down "yes" I said before she jumped into my arms and wrapped her body around me

"this is the stuff our brothers would do" I said as she climbed down "what do you mean" she asked me "they would want this right? they would want us working together" I asked her "well I'm going to say yes? but for them we will never know because they died" she said "we can't keep saying they died like that out loud" I told her laughing "why not?" she asked "because people are going to think we need help more than we already do" I said "well they died didn't they" she said "well yea but i can't just my brother got hit with a plane" I said trying not to laugh

"well I can say my brother got hit by a semi truck" she said "there's no way we both got cleared and made it out of therapy after they both died" I said looking at her. "you never called me" she said "what?" I asked "you never called me when he died" she said "you never called me when Derek died" I said "that's way different I was here! you were there! but when mark died-'' she said but I stopped her

"when mark died I wanted to be alone I didn't want to talk to anyone" I said "but we literally lived not even ten minutes away from each other" she said "melia! it's over! mark died! derek died! we move on" I said "ok I'm sorry for bringing this up" she said it immediately made me feel hurt. "don't be sorry" I said midway I was pulling her with me towards to the couch "no I'm sorry for bringing it up that was stupid of me" she said "no don't it's ok you're right I should have called you" I said slowly intertwining our hands together

I felt her jump a little but she proceeded to hold onto and I felt her breath "do you ever think about it? about us?" she asked but she was hesitant so she said it very slow and she was looking at me. "all the time. I never stop" I said as I lifted her chin to look up at me I felt our eyes connect. I felt us get closer and soon our foreheads were touching and then slowly our lips. it felt normal. the kiss lingered on till we heard a phone and it stopped it from more

"shit sorry" she said picking up her phone in the other hand but the other one reminded to be folded with mine in her lap. it never left the whole time she was on the call. "I need to get to work I'm being called in" she said "I'll see you there" I said once again leaning our foreheads together just as a way of saying I love you without actually saying it. I felt her hand slowly move away from mine and then all this love all this comfort it all just went away.

Amelia's POV
"Ameliaaaa" I heard someone call my name to my surprise it was April "hello?" I said "I see you and al are very close" she said "mm no! we aren't talking about this" I said "what? I mean come on" she said "apes I will tell you more about this later I have a surgery" I said "oh please I'll find her myself" she told me before she walked off somewhere

I bumped into someone on the way there "oh-'' I said but it was the brunette "how'd you get here so fast?" I asked her "I have my ways" she said then I felt her move to the side "I think you're supposed to be in surgery about now" she told me "and how would you know that" I said "well on the way here I saw your name on the board" she said "oh so you were looking for me" I asked "no? maybe? no? I was just" she said she was rambling "sloan you and I both know what you were doing" I told her

"stop calling me sloan and get to work" she told me "and if I don't" I said "then you'll get in so much trouble" she whispered in my ear "yes ma'am I'm on my way" I said letting our hands linger for a while together before I had to go.

Alondra's POV
"jo! jo? Josephine!" I yelled to jo who was in the storage closet "ooo you're here" she said "yes and I need to ask a question" I told her "oh serious? or no" she asked "well I'll let you decide on that one...ok so would it be bad if I dated my dead brothers best friend sister or say have a crush on her" I asked her "ooh you like melia!" she yelled "shh" I covered her mouth

"but yes I do and I don't know what to do about it" I said "tell her" she told me "I mean I kinda kissed her already so does that give a good description" I said "you kissed! oh my- now I think you should just tell her" she said "it wasn't the first time" I said I saw her eyes got wider. "did y'all's brothers know about this" she asked "they had their speculations but no" I said "really! the minute I saw you guys I knew something happened" she told me "what gave it away" I said "y'all do this hand thing I think it's very cute by the way" she told me

I know exactly what hand thing she's talking about. when either me or Amelia gets nervous or we feel anything she will it I will hold onto her hand. we also have that forehead thing but you only know about that if you see us. "so do I tell her or no" I asked "definitely yes!" she told me then I walked out because I realized one I shouldn't be telling her because now she knows and two she wasn't even really listening to me

I was running out and I just so happened to run into my brunette "heyy" I said "what's up with you" she asked "nothing? but! do you want to maybe come over and watch a movie" I asked her just saying whatever pops into my mind first "yea" she said with a smile "great" I said "you don't have to be nervous I mean it's not the first time I have been over" she whispered in my ear but she did it in this way
