Alondra's POV
today was a day full of meetings and writing paperwork it was overall one of the most hectic days. "are you listening" I asked Amelia "yes I was. but you interrupted it" she told me I felt her hold onto my hand I just let it happen because most of time this is a normal thing and will happen on a daily basis.

the meeting ended later and slowly everyone left I saw Amelia turn her body so now she was in front of me. "do you wanna come over" she asked me lately we have just been hanging out as? friends? maybe more? I mean we make out sometimes but nothing more because well I don't know. "yea sure" I said "we can watch a movie or" she said with a smirk "shhh" I said covering her mouth with my finger

we were in the room alone so no one could see us "what? I didn't even say anything" she told me with a laugh "but I knew exactly what you were implying" I told her she got closer "it won't be the first time" she told me then I felt her lips touch mine then she slowly pulled away and I felt her bite down on my bottom lip "later sloan" she told me walking out the door. as you can tell me and her very much have something going on and it's kinda been kept a secret because we just don't want people to know yet and we want to take things slow.

I walked out the room and saw Josephine waiting outside the door. "yes?" I said "did you tell melia you had feelings for her?" she asked me as we were walking "well I was but..." I said "but?" she said "we ended up making out but I mean I think it's pretty obvious I have feelings for her right?" I asked "well for her yeah cause you're the one lips with her" she said "shut up" I said smacking her arm but I heard my phone ringing "hello?" I said and it was addie.

"sloan? how's everything going? did you find shepherd yet?" she asked me a bunch of questions "I'm doing great? I did find melia! and we're both doing wonderful" I answered all of her questions "great! now I need you to come back to California for a day" she told me "why? what happened?" I asked "I need both of you back? y'all's parents are coming down" she told me which then made my heart drop

"my parents! I haven't seen them in years!" I said "well I guess they decided to come? I don't know but I need both of you guys here so I'm not alone with them" she told me "um I have to get you back in that one" I said "alondra grace sloan! I will see you at this dinner Saturday night do you understand me?" she did her whole mom voice on me "yes fine" I told her "and who are you bringing?" she asked "I'm bringing melia also" I repeated what she told me to do. "good! now get back to work" she told me hanging up the phone now

"hold up jojo I need to go find melia" I said "jojo?" she said "I know it's a good one right" I yelled down the hall. "hey mer! do you know where I can find Amelia?" I asked her "um check her office or the lab" she told me "ok thanks" I said running off. she was in her office because I saw her through her windows which I told her to always close them because you never know who's watching you. "didn't I tell you to always close your blinds" I told her walking in and immediately closing them.

"mmm there may be another reason why you want them closed" she told me "ha so funny if I wanted to rail you in front of people I would" I told her "do it then" she told me as I turned around "shut up but I need you to listen to me" I told her and she dropped everything and put her eyes on me. "addie called? and she needs us to come" I said "why? what happened?" she asked "our parents? they're in town there and are going to see her" I explained "so she wants us to come!" she asked

"well yeah" I said "how long are we staying for" sje asked me "she said a day but I'm assuming the whole weekend" I said "soo us?" she asked "nothing changes about us! we just hope they don't freak out" I said "ok" she said with a smile "what? somethings wrong" I said "no sloan nothings wrong everything is perfect" she said "it's just one night that's all I promise and if you feel overwhelmed we can leave" I told her touching her cheeks and bringing her closer to me "I love you and thank you" she said "mm I don't know if I love you" I joked with her "mm yes you do" she said kissing me

"mm maybe I love you" I said "I know you do" she said biting my lip "melia stop doing that" I told her "why? you don't have a problem with it when we are in bed" she said "because that's different we are at work" I said "so when I fuck you I can do whatever but here no" she told me "melia watch your mouth" I said "what! you act like I haven't said worse" she said "still we are in a public place" I said "so when we are in private I can say whatever" she said "yes anything" I said getting up and kissing her forehead "hey? where are you going" she asked

she was holding onto my hand. "I have an emergency surgery so I need to go but I'll see you later for our movie" I said "yes" she said as I was leaving. now you see I haven't exactly asked her to be my girlfriend but I know for a fact she likes me because we have done things that friends don't just do.
