"trying this again?"

Alondra's POV
"just ring the door bell" Amelia told me as we were both had been standing at the door for the past ten minutes deciding if we should go in or not to face our parents. "ok we got this" I said as I pressed the door bell and who opened it was our lovely addie. "hey girls" she said as she pulled us into a hug "we need to use the bathroom so we'll be back" Amelia said pulling me with her hand towards the bathroom

"what's wrong?" I asked her but instead of her answering me she connected her lips with
mine "I just really need you" she said "in what way?" I asked laughing but she smacked my arm "dumbass! please just don't leave my side" she told me I got closer to her and held her cheeks "never when you need me tell me and we can leave" I told her with a kiss then she pulled away and held onto my hand. this is about to be a long and very awkward dinner.

we walk out to where we hear all the noise and see them. "ok? great just our moms" Amelia whispered in my ear if anything we could have lasted if my dad was at least here or maybe her sisters but our moms no. they both have to be the most annoying and criticizing moms out there. "well don't just stand there? come say hi" my mom said me and Amelia gave each other a small look before we have to separate 

"stand up straight you're slouching" my mom told me and she tried to fix my back "don't touch me" I said backing away then she went to talk to amelia then I saw the red head at the corner of my eye and I walked over
towards her "ok so you failed to mention our moms were the only ones coming" I asked her "I didn't know! they just told me they wanted to see me" she said "yeah you! not their daughters who they quite literally couldn't give a shit about" I said then I felt hands go on my hands it was Amelia's I planted a kiss on her forehead.

"woah! stop? are you two trying this again" addie asked us and we both stayed quiet "did you guys tell your moms" she asked "no! we didn't tell them last time what makes you think they have the right to know years later" Amelia said I could tell she was a little annoyed at her mom being her "well as long as you both are happy nobody should be stopping that" addie said "our parents would probably try and stop us" Amelia said "please I just need you two to stay for one hour then you can go" addie said

me and Amelia both looked at each other "fine! but only an hour" Amelia said then she left go of my hand and left. "great now I have to deal with her" I said before I left "hey wait? are you two seriously trying this again" addie
asked me "yea? maybe this time is the right time" I said i walked towards the table where I had seen both of our parents talking and Amelia was on her phone. "who are you texting?" I whispered in her ear before sitting down by her "meredith I would like to know how my patients are doing" she said still not looking at me

"can we do that later? we are kinda in the middle of dinner" I told her she looked up at me with a disgusted look and then kissed me and looked back down. "I want your attention right now" I said "can I finish this" she said while still typing "it's not that important though we have other doctors there" I told her grabbing her phone from her hands and placing it into my back pocket "seriously! you wanna start this now" she told me looking at me now "yes because you're not listening to me" I told her and she gave me a look.

"give me back my phone" she told me "no" I said she leaned her chair in closer to me now she had her face closer to me. "do you really wanna test me right now alondra grace sloan" she said "yes I do. Amelia Frances shepherd" I said "when we get back home you'll be sleeping on the couch" she told me facing the
right way "have fun getting your phone back" I told her with a laugh but she slapped my arm

Amelia's POV
we ended up staying the whole time because sloan couldn't keep her mouth shut with addie so they kept asking questions. "why're you looking at me" she asked me "because you! you said only an hour" I said throwing a pillow at her but she caught it "melia! I'm sorry but we are back and we leave tomorrow" she told me she then tried to hug me which I kindly denied

"oh? so now you can't hug me" she said removing her arms away from me "eww no! you lied to me" I said "mm ok" she said walked towards her phone "what are you doing" I asked her "none of your business"
she told me so I started to do this thing I know she hates but it works all the time. "why do you keep making that noise" she asked me this time she was looking up at me "because? you won't talk to me" I said taking her phone straight out her hands which caught her off guard.

"hey! gimme my phone" she said reaching behind me "no" I said smiling "ok fine you win but I really need to type out this email" she told me but I placed her phone on the bed "thank you" she said sitting down at the edge of the bed with me standing in between her "sloan" I said but very softly "mhm what's up" she said still looking down. "what if we don't work out this time? what if we stop talking again" I said but this time she looked up mostly because you could hear the breaking in my voice

"hey? hey everything is fine with us, we are going to work i promise I'm not going anymore anytime soon" she told me cupping my cheeks now I had tears falling "I don't want to lose you again" I said "nothing like that will happen I'm right here always" she said wiping the tears then kissed me "I love you so much melia" she told me "I love you more sloane" I told her and she finally pulled in for a hug and just let me cry on her shoulder
