Amelia's POV
"hey do you know by chance where i can find your wife" i heard a voice it was Arizona's voice "i would love to also know that answer" i said sarcastic I saw her walk around "what's wrong? you guys are always on each other? what happened?" she asked question after question "you know i know she has been busy with this whole new cheif thing but she like never comes home like we haven't seen her in like a week" i started to just talk and talk about it.
"what do you mean cheif thingy?" she asked "since Meredith left that position has been reopened and she decided to go for it" i said "you aren't happy about it?" she said confused "she was already cheif literally runs her own department here i see no reason to change that up" i said "have you talked to her about it" she asked "i barley see her it's like she comes home sleeps and then by time we all wake up she's already gone" i explained "ugh sloan being sloan i will try to find her" she told me before walking away somewhere.
Alondra's POV
"alondra grace! what is this about your wife telling me you're applying for cheif" i heard the blonde's voice the minute she stepped into the lab. "well it's exactly what it sounds like" i told her not paying attention to her yet "no! give that damn position to teddy! she deserves it" she said making me look up at her "ouch that hurt" i said with a smile "you're already head of your department what else do you want" she said i could tell she was annoyed.
"this could be a good opportunity for me and my family" i said "really! both of you are world class surgeons! probably has a pay check of millions and damn both of you're fine as hell" she said making me smile at the last part "oh why thank you i love that you think im hot" i said "you're not running up against teddy" she told me "and why not?" i asked her "because your wife is on the verge of a breakdown and you're too busy with this" she said
"well she needs to come talk to me im busy" i said and then i felt a slap which kinda hurt to be honest.
"you bitch" i said "go! go talk to your wife or you know who i will bring in carina" she told me which ahh don't know if that's a good idea. Amelia and carina have this thing where they team up on me and i hate it. "alright no let's calm down now" i said fake smiling and walking towards the door "you better fix things with that wife of yours" i heard her say the minute i ran out the room. now if we're being honest i may have been a bit busy on work and paying less focus on my kids and yes my wife.
i walk down to her office because i didn't see her in the halls so assuming she's in there. i get up to her floor and see that her windows are right open i for one hate when she does that. "my love" i said the minute entering her office "oh hey sloan glad to see you remembered me! you know your wife! the mother of your children" she said "look i get it that you're upset-'' she cut me off right at that sentence
"upset? im pissed ally! i haven't seen you in days. you're all of sudden so busy never have time for us! your kids!" she said at this point i could tell she was pissed like she said she was. "im sorry" i said "no! sorry won't help this time. you're becoming very much invisible to our family" she told me "can we just talk about this" i said grabbing her hand which she quickly moved away from me.
"alondra taking that position can either make or break many things" she told me "i don't want that stupid position anymore" i told her sitting down on the couch she has in there. "what do you mean?" she asked me "i don't want it anymore i just want you and our kids back" i said hearing her say all this out loud makes me feel not so good. and it's true i have been everywhere but home where i should be most of my time. "you mean that" she said coming closer to me standing in between my legs. "yes and plus teddy deserves that more" i said and before i could finish my sentence she moved
her lips onto mine. "i love you sloan" she said looking into my eyes "i love you shepherd" i said leaning my forehead against hers "i love you and those gorgeous blue eyes" she smiled at my last words.
