Alondra's POV
"hi! yes! can you give me a minute i need to go grab my wife then we can start talking" i said into my phone. today we will be talking with our lawyers and case worker who is helping us try and adopt riley because apparently her grandmother wants to take full custody but you see that's a no. and im sure riley will also very much say no to that. "Amelia! come hurry i need you" i yelled throughout the house.
i walk into the living room and see the 16 year old watching spongebob "where's mama?" i asked her she titled her head and then she didn't say a word "riley elizabeth! mama?" i said snapping my fingers "oh! she went outside to? go get something from the car?" she said with a very confused face "why do i have a feeling you don't know where she is" i said crossing my arms "because she told me but i forgot" she said turning her attention back.
"your brother is inside the room sleeping i will be outside for a second" i said "ok" she said but her eyes weren't on me "riley" i said with a more serious voice which caught her attention quickly "yes mommy i got it" she said with a smile making me smile and roll my eyes. i walk outside to the front of the house and yes riley was right she did in fact go outside. "whatcha doing shepherd" i said making her jump "don't do that! but im cleaning out my car" she said and yes that she was. "well can you finish that later i need you right now" i told her
she closed her car door giving me a look "not that kind of need you nasty i mean you need to be with me for the meeting with the lawyers and case worker" i explained to her making her mouth make an o shape "gotcha" she said giving me a wink. we walked inside and not very much to my surprise riley was still in the exact same spot on the couch except now she was laying down. "you know you have a bed and tv in your room so you can do this in there right?" i said "yes mommy" riley said
"hey why am i not mommy" amelia asked me
"because im mommy" i said "no im mommy to chris! not riley?" she said "because im mommy to ry and mama to chris" i said "why?" she asked "bec-'' we were interrupted by the 16 year olds voice "you know i would love to hear and care about this whole mommy thing but i got a show to watch" riley said making us both turn "you know that's why you have a room elizabeth" i said using her middle name "did you just call me my middle name" riley asked
"sure did elizabeth" i said walking
Amelia's POV
"you know maybe next time let's not go off on people who we are fighting against" i said turning to look at my very annoyed wife. "maybe next time tell people's to keep their mouth shut about my kids" she said running her hands through her hair "she's ours my love she's not going anymore" i said "how do we know that? what if one day they decide we aren't fit enough moms" she said she was spiraling and she has been these past days
"mom-'' i heard our daughters voice but she stopped midway because she saw sloan and she has never seen sloan this upset or sad it's the first time. "are you okay" she whispered i saw as her breathing began to quicken. the whole time she was eyeing alondra because she hasn't said a word she was just leaning against the counter with her head down. "yes I'm perfect" sloan said turning and now hugging her but the hug was off and even i could feel it. riley took a step back and placed her hands on each cheek of sloan's face. "why're you sad" she asked
sloan carefully leaned her forehead against riley's "no matter what happens remember that i love you" sloan said kissing her forehead but i saw panic in my daughters eyes "hey hey no don't think that you're not going anymore" i said immediately letting her know "no matter what happens means-'' she said she was on the verge of tears falling "look at me.. i just mean no matter what happens or what people tell you that you're ours. and nobody can take you from us" sloan said she quite literally was squeezing the hell out of her "too tight mommy" riley said trying to break through

sorry i js left but im writing new chapters and getting ideas as i write...
tmr probably won't get out a new chapter i have a game and will be tired afterwards.
