“Beep, beep!” That is my alarm clock. It is 6 in the morning, the usual time I wake up to get ready for school.

I am so tired! Why do you have to go to school so early? It is really not fair.

Finally, I am able to convince myself to get up and go into the kitchen to get some breakfast.

I am having cereals, fruits and tea as usual.

After that I have a shower and get ready in general for school.

One and a half hour later I am heading towards the school gate where Vicky is already waiting for me.

“Hi. How are you?” She is shouting towards me.

“Fine! Do you maybe want to go to Costa today after school?” I am asking her because I really need to talk to her about Darin and things.

She agrees.

The rest of the school day happens to be quiet boring. The most exciting thing is that I nearly fall asleep in my history class.

So I am really happy when the bell rings and I can go home.

I am so excited! I hope Darin wrote another email because I really want to read something of him. Wednesdays are the worst because it is the only day in the week I do not see him at a choir session.

At home the first thing I do is switching on the computer to check my mails but I do not have a new one. I wish he had written me. I must say I am a bit sad and disappointed.

I am taking the bus to Costa because I will meet Vicky there. So the time on the bus gives me a lot of time to think about Darin.

Vicky is sitting opposite me. We are both having blueberry muffins and regular coffees with milk and sugar. When we became friends this was one of the first things we found out about each other: We like to have the same things on Costa which are these muffins and coffees most of the time.

After hesitating for a while, I finally start to talk: “Vicky, I really have to talk to you. I don’t know how to say it but I am writing emails with Darin.”

“That’s amazing? How is it? Are you two dating or what? I’m such a bad friend I have never asked or anything like that. I want to know everything!” Vicky is hopping up and down on her seat in front of me.

“Calm down! We are not dating and things. Actually, I never really talk to him in real life at choir sessions. We only write emails.” I am explaining.

But I cannot tell her about what we are writing. That is too personal. I know that I normally talk to her about everything but this would be embarrassing to tell her somehow.

“So what kind of emails do you write? I want to knooooow.” She stretched the last work like a begging kid.

“Oh you know... just stuff. Hobbies and things and of course about the choir, you know.” I avoid the question.

“Really? You HAVE to ask him out! You could be together! Just ask him. You two would make an amazing couple. Though, without you he would probably be my boyfriend.” She says winking.

Do I really want that?... I mean, I want to see him 24 hours a day, hear his voice, look into his eyes and everything. Oh my god, I’m in love!

“Fine, I will write him and ask right away when I will get home.” I answer.

“Good!” Vicky smiles and takes a zip of her coffee.
