I’m walking towards Vicky who is already waiting for me in front of the school gate.
‘What did he say? ,’ Vicky is asking me as soon as I’m standing next to her. ‘Are you a couple now? Come on, tell me!’
She’s hopping up and down in front of me now.
‘Calm down! ,’ I answer. ‘He hasn’t answered my email yet and I’m nearly dying because I have to meet him at the choir session today.’
‘Don’t worry! You’ll be fine,’ is Vicky’s answer to that.
The school bell rings.
‘Bye then! I’ll see you this afternoon. You have to tell me everything about your choir session then.’ With these words she walks away, leaving me behind.
Sometimes Vicky really isn’t much a help.
I just came out of the classroom and I am on my way to the assembly hall now.
I am so nervous.
Suddenly someone bumps into me from the left. I turn around just to see that it is Darin, who came through the door on the left, on his way to the choir session, too.
I can feel my heart pounding inside my chest.
‘I’m sorry! Are you okay? ,’ he asks politely.
‘Yeah...uhm, sure,’ I murmur still very nervous.
‘Are you looking forward to the choir session as well?’
‘Ehm... yeah.’
Oh man. I’m dying, I’m dying. I can feel cold sweat on my hands.
‘I really hope we’re going to practice “Brand new day” and not only “We go together” and “You’re the one that I want” again,’ he continues the conversation.
‘Yeah, me too. I really love “Brand new day”. It’s so much fun,’ I admit.
I now become a little less tensioned as he obviously hasn’t read my email yet... hopefully.
