Chapter 13: Endgame

"On your left"

Steve turned around to see a string of orange lights suddenly illuminate the battlefield; portals, full of his team members, friends, and family all those he'd thought he'd lost were back again.

Alyson jumped through the portal landing on the ground next to Wanda, she steadied herself and prepared for a fight but not before giving Steve a reassuring smile.

They lined up as more avengers emerged from the portals, Aly spotted Peter swinging out from one close by and breathed out in relief, he was okay.

She grabbed Wanda's hand, smiling sadly at her friend who nodded back nonchalantly while still looking at Thanos with angry eyes.

She gave Wanda's hand a final squeeze then let go as she let her own palms spark with blue energy, then Aly let out a breath in anticipation.

"Avengers Assemble!"

Alyson twisted an electric shock into an oncoming member of Thanos's army sending them to the ground shaking, she smirked and turned to grab another by the wrist, electrocuting them to the floor, "keep coming boys" she yelled as more ran for her but never reaching her as a massive wave of lightning hit the floor suddenly knocking them all out cold.

"Show off" Aly smirked, rolling her eyes at Thor who smiled at her before jumping further into the crowd.

She stayed put, fighting through a small army of otherworldly creatures, they kept running for her but she fought them all off swiftly.

However Alyson couldn't help her eyes from darting around the battlefield, Natasha always told her to keep her focus while in a fight but she couldn't help herself from searching for the friends she couldn't see; especially Natasha.

"You missed a few!" Sam yelled from above as he blasted a couple of creatures in front of her, bringing her attention back to the fight "yeah thanks Sam I can see that" she shot back with a grin as he landed on the ground beside her and started kicking some aliens down.

"Aly" Sam shouted gaining her attention, she looked up and he pointed to where Peter had just swung by a couple of meters ahead, Alyson smiled at Sam and then ran in her brother's direction.

As Peter saw her his eyes widened, she ran up and pulled him in tightly for a hug.

"You're still my little brother!" she cried, "should I not be?" he muffled into her shoulder in confusion and she hugged him tighter "well apparently it's been five years and I didn't know if you had been... deleted as well" she beamed, happy that they were together again.

He pulled away and smiled "well last thing I knew I was in space and it started to get dusty, then Dr. Strange said that it's been five years and that our help was needed and then he did this weird hand movement thing that he always does and we were just here" he exhaled breathlessly. Aly looked at him sternly "we're still going to talk about you going to space without me! You're not getting out of it that easily!" she spat, he swung a web to the left of him "it's been five years since that happened let it go!" he chuckled as he swung off.

Aly watched him go with a sly smile then sent a bolt of electricity down her path into an outrider who had... a tree? pinned down.

The.. tree looked up at her with appreciation and sent her a small wave "I Am Groot" he said, Aly smiled awkwardly "sure."

Clint threw the gauntlet to T'challa who took off running with it, as he tried to catch his breath an outrider suddenly jumped for him landing just above his chest, and tried to push the archer to the ground.
