Chapter 16: No Way Home -2

A glazing circle of orange suddenly lit up the dark room and Peter jumped through closing it behind him, leaving Dr. Strange webbed up inside.

"Peter? what happened," Aly asked rushing over to her brother with Ned and Mj.

"I just had a fight with Dr. Strange and I totally won" he exhaled excitedly and Ned's eyes widened with the same exhilaration "what?!"

"Look I stole his ring thing" Peter breathed out as Ned grabbed it from his hand and put it on his finger, "hey that thing looks pretty dangerous maybe you shouldn't.." Aly warned but Ned was too excited to care as he studied it.

"I was swinging through the city then I went through this massive mirror thing, and then I was back..." Peter mumbled taking off his mask until Mj interrupted him "where is he?"

"He's trapped but I'm not sure for how long" Peter replied and Alyson let out an amused breath "that's gonna be fun to deal with later, I can already hear his snarky comments."

"You could have just left us here to die... why didn't you?" Otto asked bringing the four out of their conversation.

"Cos that's not who he is" Mj replied, and Peter looked at her lovingly.

"I think I can help you guys, if I can fix what happened to you, then when you go back things will be different and you might not die fighting Spider-man," Peter told them as Aly watched with careful eyes, Max seemed to be smiling at her but she ignored him.

"What do you mean?" Otto asked and Peter stepped towards them all "our technology is advanced.."

"Yeah did you guys not have a Tony Stark in your universe? Or ever been to Wakanda?" Aly asked but they looked at her dumbfounded, "who's Tony Stark" said Sandman, and Aly's eyes widened "how did your universe survive?" she muttered under her breath as a smile grew on Norman's face.

"I can help you... you know I'm something of a scientist myself..... Octavious knows what I can do."

"Fix, you mean like a dog? I refuse."

"I can't promise you guys anything, but at least this way you actually get to go home and have a chance... a second chance... I mean c'mon?" Peter breathed out and Aly uncrossed her arms as she stepped towards them all.

"Isn't that worth trying?" Aly asked them before smiling proudly at her brother.

"Trust me, Peter, when you try to fix people there are always consequences" the lizard man hissed.

"I mean you don't have to come... I also didn't know you could talk... but if you stay here... you're gonna have to deal with the wizard" Peter replied, "ah so we go along or die, not much of a choice is it?" the creature grunted.

"It's probably more than you deserve" Aly spat back, "I just want to go home" Flint breathed out as Max stepped closer to the glass grinning at Alyson.

"I.. myself don't want to be killed... especially by a guy dressed like dungeons and dragons, so you guys have a plan?"

They all turned to look at Peter, Alyson raised her eyebrow at him as he smiled awkwardly back at them "I have it all under control."

Alyson's face scrunched up into a look of worry at her brother's words; she knew that tone, he had no idea what he was doing but she'd follow him anyway.

He pulled Alyson over to Mj and Ned and turned away from the villains, "what are we gonna do about this thing?" Peter whispered motioning to the magic box.

"Destroy it?" Aly asked but the other three shook their heads quickly "this is how we send them back" Ned replied and Aly nodded.

"We need to find somewhere safe for it, right?" Mj said and Peter hummed in agreement "yeah, you gotta take it."
