Strangers (Killerxreader)

"I think we're finally all unpacked." Killer sighed as he flopped back onto the couch. You two had moved into your new apartment three weeks ago, your friends helped you move everything so it went by quick. With work though, the unpacking and organizing process took a while.

"Yep, just gotta take these boxes to the recycling." You sat down next to him, your head resting on his shoulder.

The new apartment really did feel brand new, when the landlord said they had to fix up somethings you thought that just meant a new coat of paint on the walls. There was new paint on the walls, but almost everything in the apartment looked new. A new fridge and stove in the kitchen, a new washer and drier. The half bathroom in the hallway was completely renovated as well as the bathroom in the master bedroom.

The smaller bedroom in the apartment would be used as a guest room once you guys got a futon couch bed for it. It also doubled as an extra storage space and where one of Wisp's scratching posts was kept.

"We'll do that later. For now let's order some food." Killer pulled his phone from his pocket. You two had been eating a lot of take-out lately, you both were too tired from work and unpacking to go grocery shopping. The place did look nice though, it was a mixture of your's and Killer's style which went well together.

"Might want to order extra. Ace, Luffy, Wire,Heat, Nami, and Vivi are coming over to play video games." You reminded your boyfriend, Ace originally wanted to throw you both a house warming party. But you were too exhausted for that, so you talked him down to a small get together with the promise of a party some other day.

"Guess pizza it is. Oh, and Kid might come by if his date goes south." Killer softly chuckled. The red head had decided to get back on the dating scene recently.

Luffy and Ace were the last to show up for the little get together. Which meant everyone got to eat some pizza before the two bottomless pits ate it all. Currently the two were stuffing their faces with the pizza that was left.

Vivi was play a round on mortal kombat against Wire, she was doing really well despite not playing video games much. You were sitting next to Nami on the sectional, catching each other up on what's been happening in your lives.

Heat was playing with Wisp and Killer had gone to get some snacks from the convenience store down the street.

"Guess who I found." Killer walked in, Kid following behind him.

"How did the date go?" You asked, Kid had his typical scowl on his face so you couldn't tell if he had a good time or not.

"Meh. She was nice, but quiet." Kid shrugged his shoulders, he sat next to Wire and didn't say anything else. You guessed there wouldn't be a second date.

"I got your gummy worms as requested." Killer sat down next to you and placed the plastic bag in your hands. You fished out your gummy worms and passed the bag so she could grab her chocolate bar.

"Candy! Give me!" Luffy came bouncing over to the couch, Nami tossed the bag back to you and held Luffy back by the shoulder.

"You just ate four boxes of pizza." Nami huffed as she held her chocolate bar away from Luffy.

"But aren't the snacks for everyone?" Luffy pouted.

"Here. These chips are for you." You handed Luffy a super sized bag of chips, he happily took them and sat down next to Vivi to watch her play. "Everyone else I suggest you grab your snacks now. I won't be able to protect them all from Luffy and Ace."

Normally you'd just have snacks out for everyone to share, but Luffy had a tendency to eat everything in sight. Ace was nice enough to ask people if they wanted any, he would typically eat everything before people had a chance to eat more though. Individual snacks were best when around these two.

After Vivi and Wire finished their round, you put on Mario Kart so more people could play. It was you, Kid, Luffy, and Heat up against each other, it was pretty chaotic. Obviously you all used whatever you had to win, Luffy had a habit of ramming his car into whoever was beside him and driving them off the track along with himself.

"Will you stop doing that Luffy!" Kid grumbled as Luffy pushed him of the track once again, the red head was very competitive and didn't love the younger male's tactics.

"As long as he's pushing you off the race track I don't mind it." You smirked while shooting a green shell at Heat, he managed to evade Luffy so far and stay at the front of the race. You were pretty competitive yourself, even if this was a friendly race between friends, you wanted to come in first place.

You cheered quietly for yourself as you won the race, Heat came in second, while Luffy and Kid came in last. The red head grumbling about it not being fair as he handed his controller to Ace.

Luffy and Heat gave their controllers to Nami and Killer, you got to stay in the next race. The rules you guys were playing by was whoever won got to keep playing until they lost. You got to stay in three more races until Wire beat you.

Vivi was the first to leave for the night, she wasn't much of a night owl and she had work the next day. It was a slow trickle of everyone leaving after that, Nami and Luffy left with Heat. They all lived in the same direction so Heat offered to drive them home.

"I don't wanna be rude and kick you out, but when are you three leaving?" Killer asked Ace, Wire, and Kid. They've been playing Call of Duty for the last hour, you didn't mind but it was one in the morning and you were ready for bed.

"I guess we should head out, these oldies look tired." Ace chuckled as he saved the game.

"We're the same age." You flicked your freckled friend on the forehead.

"You act old though." Ace pouted as he rubbed at his forehead.

"I think the word you're looking for is mature." You teased as you walked your friend to the door, he gave you a hug before leaving, Wire and Kid giving their goodbyes as they followed him out.

After everyone was gone you and Killer cleaned up before heading to bed. There wasn't much of a mess just pizza boxes to be tossed. The food crumbs Ace and Luffy left needed to be swept before Wisp ate them.

"Finally time for sleep." Killer layed down in bed, he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you on top of him. "What's got you smiling?"

"Just happy. It's been an exhausting few weeks, having our friends over tonight was fun. But the best part is I get to live with you." You cupped your hands around his face and pulled him in for a kiss.

"I think I'm the one who lucked out. You're an amazing person, I love you and I'm happy that I get to live with you." Killer peppered  kisses across your face, you chuckled at the ticklish feeling.

"I love you two. Now give me another kiss on the lips." You playfully demanded. A smile spread across Killer's face, he pulled you in for a long kiss. You both started laughing when Wisp jumped up on the bed and patted you both on the face.

"We like living with you too Wisp."
