It was now morning and Steven was walking through the halls when he spotted Edward and Edwina's dog, he smiled at it and try to be playful but it growled at him, he rolled his eyes and walked off, making his way outside.

Edward was making his way to Aubrey Hall after another morning ride, he slowed down as he got to the gardens where Steven happened to be, a worker was outside and walked up to Edward to take the horse from him as he got off he thanked the man and watched him walk off with the horse.

He looked over to Steven who hadn't noticed him yet, he sighed and walked up to him. "My lord?" Edward said as Steven turned to look at him. "Mister Sharma, is your sister.." he said. "She is in her room" Edward stated.

"Not feeling her best this morning, it seems" he added as he got closer to Steven. "I did not mean to disappoint her last night, when I did not declare myself " he said walking alongside Edward. "And I'd like to thank you for not-" Steven interupted him. "She shall not disappointed for long. Assure her, I still intend to propose" he said looking away from Edward.

"Last night was a lark, at best. My friends were up to no good, and with everyone sitting there, staring back at me, well.. my feelings would not allow me to speak" he said as Edward stared at him, Steven stopped walking near some flowers and Edward walked around Steven to the front of him and stood there.

"So your feelings are too strong for you now?" Edward questioned. "Mister Sharma-" Edward interrupted Steven. "No. No. All you are doing, my lord, is toying with the emotions of an impressionable young lady" Edward said. "Miss Edwina seems perfectly capable of forming her own impressions, if you took notice" Steven said.

"So now you claim to know my sister better then me?" Edward asked. "I know she wishes to be happy" Steven said raising his voice. "That is precisely what I wish for her" Edward stated. "I can assure you, happiness is not your strength. Exasperation, perhaps. Fixation, most definitely" Edward said raising his voice as well.

Steven noticed a bee coming up to Edward's chest as he spoke. "The only feeling you are, in fact, capable of engendering, my lord, is that of discontent" Edward said as Steven looked at him horrified. He didn't know much about bees, but he knew one killed his father and he assumed it could do the same to anyone else.

"Do not move" he said gabbing Edward's arm. "Do not tell me what to do!" Edward shouted. "Stand still, damn it!" He said pulling Edward close as he stared at the bee, Edward looked down seeing the bee and looked back up to Steven.

Steven looked very scared and Edward didn't understand why but he tried to just shoo the bee away. "No! Do not! Leave it!" Steven shouted. "It is only a bee. Ow!" Edward said as it stung him on his chest, Steven grabbed Edward's arms and watched his facial expression in horror.

He thought Edward would die just as his father did, he kept glancing between the sting and Edward's face as Edward calmed down. "Are you hurt," Steven asked. "What?" Edward replied. "Can you breathe?" Steven questioned.

"It is only a sting. Of course" Edward responded. "Are you certain?" Steven asked, Edward was confused as to why Steven looked so horrified. "My lord?" Edward said. "No, no. Do not-" Steven said as he began to hyperventilate.

Edward grew more concerned as Steven's face got closer to Edward's. "My lord?" Edward repeated. "Do not-" Steven couldn't bring himself to speak he continued breathing heavily. "I am unharmed" Edward assured him as be continued to hyperventilate, Edward grabbed Steven's hand and placed it on his chest where he was stung.

"I am unharmed" he repeated as Steven started to calm down, his breathing slowed down finally and Edward placed his other hand on Steven's chest as their faces were now only inches apart, Steven was still breathing slightly heavy as he glanced between Edward's eyes to his lips. "It was just a bee" Edward said softly looking into Steven's eyes.
