Y/n POV

My alarm rang, and I groggily opened my eyes, checking the time. It was 4:00 am, the hour when the world still slept. I dragged myself out of bed and stumbled to the restroom, rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

The chill of the early morning sent shivers down my spine as I put on my gym outfit, dreading the cold even more.

Then, without warning, the door burst open, and I jumped back in shock.

Y/n: "How many times do I have to tell you not to burst into my room?"

A playful smirk danced on her face, but there was a hint of irritation in my voice. It was a familiar routine, yet I couldn't help but wonder why it never seemed to end.

???: "Ah, it's become a habit. So, you're going to the gym.

"Y/n: "Do I look like I'm going to a funeral, you stupid person?"

My words were sharp, a reflection of my morning mood. I might have been a workout freak, but that didn't mean I had to look miserable about it.

???: "So much savageness. Such a workout freak.

"Y/n: "What did you say?"

My curiosity piqued as I stared at the intruder, but their hesitation told me they might have crossed a line.

???: "N-nothing.

"Y/n: "Yeah, you better say nothing."

With a smirk, I turned away, heading out of the room and down the hallway toward the gym. The encounter had jolted me awake, and I was eager to start my day.

After a strenuous workout...

I returned home at 9:00 am, my muscles aching but my spirits lifted. As I entered my room, there she was – the lazy author – sprawled out on my bed, fast asleep.

Frustration bubbled within me, and without a second thought, I delivered a playful headshot to her forehead.

A/n: "How many times have I told you not to wake me up like that?"

Y/n: "And how many times do I have to say not to sleep in my bed?"

Our banter was a dance we'd perfected over time, one that concealed the underlying affection between us.

A/n: "I was so tired."

Y/n: "What did you do to get tired?"

A/n: "Nothing, you know, how hard it is to do nothing."

Y/n: "Get out."

A/n: "Nah."

Despite the bickering, there was a bond that ran deep. We understood each other's quirks and habits better than anyone else.

A/n said, sinking further into the bed.

I sighed in exasperation and sent her rolling onto the floor with a swift kick.

A/n: "Ahhhhh..."

Y/n: "Get out."

A/n: "I will go, don't be an ass."
