Chapter 7

Kim Maknaeas POV:

Y/n had gone somewhere, and we were in the limo when Rose finally broke the tense silence.

Rose: I loved Y/n's "Still With You" song. I need to tell her how much I loved it when she comes back home.

Lisa: Yeah, it was truly amazing.

Solar: Me three. That song hit me hard.

Hwasa: Me four. I can't wait to share it with my friends.

Moon: Me five. I've already listened to it multiple times.

Wheenie: Me six. Y/n is incredibly talented.

As we reached our house, we entered, but it felt strangely empty. JK broke the silence by shouting that we had arrived home, and our oppas and unnies soon appeared.

Jisoo: Oh, you're back.

JK: Where's appa?

Jin: He's in the garden with Mrs. Park.

Chan & Lisa: Where's Y/n?

Jisoo: I thought she was with you guys.

Rose: I thought she had already come home.

Just then, the sound of a message notification echoed through the room, coming from Jin oppa's and Jisoo unnie's phones.

Message from Y/n: "Oppa/Unnie, I am coming for dinner, and I will bring someone."

Y/n POV:

Now, I've finally returned to my home. I rang the doorbell, but there was no immediate response. I rang it again, and then once more. Frustration mounted as I waited, and someone finally shouted from inside, opening the door.

??? (Mother): "No one was opening the door. What can I do with these children?"

As she set her eyes on me, her initial frustration turned into gasping surprise.

??? (Mother): "Awe, my daughter came."

Y/n: "Oh, eomma."

We shared a warm hug.

Mrs. Choi: "Come inside."

As we stepped in, we found my dad and my brother-in-law engrossed in watching a football game.

Mrs. Choi: "Look who finally came to visit."
Their astonished gazes met mine.

Mr. Choi: "Awe, my daughter."

He stood up and enveloped me in a warm hug.

Mr. Choi: "I'll make some tea. You all can catch up."

As he made his way to the kitchen, I seized the opportunity to teach Yeonjun a lesson, giving his ear a playful twist that made him wince in pain.

Y/n: "How many times do I have to say it? Don't trouble eomma."

Yeonjun stammered out an apology.

Yeonjun: "I-I am s-s-sorry."

His younger siblings couldn't help but chuckle.

Y/n: "What are you all laughing at, hmm?"

Kai: "N-nothing, n-n-noona."

Mrs. Choi couldn't resist commenting.

Mrs. Choi: "Y/n, you're the only one they fear."

Y/n: "They better be."

I settled onto the couch next to Yeonjun. As my mom went about her business in the kitchen, I brought up the topic.

Y/n: "Where's my princess?"
