Draco hadn't visited the library at all on Saturday or Sunday, and spent that Sunday evening finishing off the reading of his novel.
He was outside sitting on the stone ledge under a stone archway as he read. He had managed to escape Mathew Callist's pestering questions about the bet, and how there was only a week left.
Though his thoughts were interrupted when someone had stomped in front of him. He brought his head up to look at them, and was met with Y/n, who looked angry. Before he could get a word out, she quickly shoved a paper to his chest, causing him to drop his book. She didn't let go of the paper though as she brought it back to her. She held it in front of them.
"What exactly is this?!" She demanded as she pointed to it. He squinted his eyes to read the cursive writing and smirked when he saw the Gringott's emblem.
"A Gringott's letter?"
"Yes! Why do I receive one telling me 15,000 galleons have been transferred into my vault by Mr Malfoy?!" She glared as she gripped the top of the paper.
Draco leaned back on the stone pillar of the archway as he sat comfortably.
"You said a kiss from you would be 15,000, so there you are." He put his hands in his pockets, waiting for her response.
Her eyes widened in realisation. She looked gobsmacked as she opened and closed her mouth, trying to find the words as her face turned a lighter shade.
He pushed off the pillar and took a step towards her, leaning his head to her. "So when would you like to arrange it?"
Her eyes widened even more as she stepped back. "Do you really expect me to kiss you?!" She demanded. She tried speaking in a low voice but couldn't control her tone.
"You named your price, I gave it."
"Take it back!"
"It's non-refundable." He almost yawned as he leaned back on the pillar again. "Honestly, didn't you read the letter?" He teased.
He watched her expression change multiple times. She looked confused, and she almost started hyperventilating.
"I don't owe you anything Malfoy." She glared.
He shrugged. She narrowed her eyes at him, starting to hate his attitude.
"If it means I take out the coins one by one to give them to you then so be it!"
"If you do that then you're breaching my wishes, and the banks' rule."
She scoffed. "I'm not kissing you!" She glared before she walked off out of his view.
He smiled a little as he bent down and picked up the book from the grass.
He walked back to his dorm that night and met his friends there.
Blaise gave him a look.
"What?" Draco asked as he took off his cloak and hung it up. He stretched his neck as he made his way towards his bed.
"You seem happy." Blaise said as he eyed Theo, who looked just as pleased.
"Yeah.. you know what? It was a good day." He caught himself admitting. He smiled as he started changing into his pyjamas.
"A good day?" Theo repeated. He hadn't heard those words come out of Draco's mouth for a really long time.
Theo and Blaise kept looking at Draco as a smile was lingering across his face for the next 5 minutes. Draco had caught his friends staring and immediately wiped the smile off his face, replacing it with a cold stare. His friends didn't mind though.

Mathew kept smiling at Draco from across the table. It was only them this morning.
"Okay, what is it?" Draco asked.
"I commend you Malfoy, you've been so talkative lately." He taunted. Draco rolled his eyes.
"I've gotten so much progress already. What have you been doing?"
"Absolutely nothing." Draco answered sarcastically as he ate a piece of his breakfast.
"You really love to lose don't you? You live for it in fact. When have you ever won in life?"
"I don't mind losing to you Callist. It's not so impactful on my life. You can win the bet, because I don't care for a broom that I already have 10 of." He rolled his eyes again.
"No need to show off your wealth." Mathew scoffed.
"There's always a need." He smirked. Mathew finally had left him alone and Draco's eyes naturally wandered around the great hall. Obviously, he looked for Y/n who sat down the table.
She was already glaring at him, to his surprise. He had never caught her staring at him until this morning.
He kept her stare and as did she. He cracked a small smile as if teasing her and she let out a small scoff, looking away to whisper angrily to Daphne Greengrass who sat beside her.
"What progress have you made?" Draco found himself asking curiously.
He saw Mathew think for a moment. "She's started to talk to me and we-"
"-that's definitely a first in your life." Theo interrupted from behind as he shoved Mathew over to sit next to him. Mathew shot him a glare, but it disappeared.
"No no, she's really warmed up to me. In fact, we were paired up for a little in class assignment for Divination. She couldn't keep her hands off of me." He sighed dramatically as he took a bite of toast.
Theo didn't believe it for a second and started piling food on his plate. Draco's eyes wandered down the table to Y/n, then shot back to Mathew's who was oblivious.
