Mathew and Johnathan had left with a final triumphant smile.
Left after ruining whatever Draco had gained the past three weeks. Whatever he even had left.
"Draco, talk!" Theo demanded softly again as he shook his shoulder. Draco only shook his head and buried it in his hands.
"This is all our fault," Theo rambled. "we should have talked him out of it. It was stupid anyway!" He started pacing.
"No offence, Theo, but you shouldn't even be worrying, this is about Draco right now." Blaise crossed his arms.
"Pansy's totally going to break up with me after this," he went on.
"She won't, because she cares about you." Blaise tried comforting but rolled his eyes a little.
Draco's chest violently went up and down as he tried catching his breath and trying to think of a solution. Or better yet, trying to comprehend what just happened.
He felt Blaise sit next to him. "Are you okay?" He put an arm around him.
"At least you won." Theo said. Blaise shot him a glare.
"I can't believe how regretful I feel right now." Draco muttered into his hand.
"Why?" Blaise asked.
Draco didn't want to say it, but it was actually nice having someone like Y/n to talk to and look for.
"Because he feels bad, he hurt her feelings, Blaise."
"I—" Draco tried talking, but he didn't know what to say.
"Apologise, it's a good start." Theo continued when Blaise didn't answer.
Draco didn't answer either, he only made a sound. He knew he had to apologise, even though he didn't like it.
"It was only a kiss on the cheek anyway. It's not like she actually snogged you." Theo continued on. Blaise only sighed with annoyance and Draco never answered as he kept his head down.

It wasn't that easy to find her anymore.
Three days had passed and she did a great job of avoiding him. She did a great job of running off the opposite way. She did a great job of glaring at him or not meeting his eyes. She did everything well. But he wasn't going to start appreciating it.
He knew she wouldn't be in the library again. He hadn't caught her stacking books or behind the counter for a while.
He went to his usual isle. The isle she first showed him. All he did was admire the books and their titles. He didn't want to borrow anything. He wouldn't admit it but he was a bit embarrassed now.
Curfew was just about to start so the library was empty, but he heard a loud slam of the front door. He jumped a little and slowly made his way out. He peaked behind the book shelf and saw Y/n with her back turned closing the library door behind her.
She was having trouble with it and he caught himself staring for a little too long. He gasped as he hid behind the shelf briefly, before deciding he had to go up to her.
She must have heard his footsteps because she turned around when he was half way over. Her eyes widened and he noticed her hand slowly move behind her to find the door handle.
"Y/n, wait," he paused. He didn't know what to say. He only looked at her with his mouth shut, so pathetically.
"Leave me alone." She ordered quietly.
"I didn't mean to do that bet." He took a step closer.
"Then what did you mean to do? Hurt my feelings instead?"
