Wednesday. The library closed early that day, and there was a Quidditch game going on. Slytherin Vs. Ravenclaw.
As Draco flew around on his broom he hoped he would catch Y/n in the crowd, and she should have been, because the library was to be closed.
But no matter how many times he looked in the stands, his eyes never met hers. When Slytherin won and he searched the crowd a last time, she still wasn't there.
When his team celebrated in the Slytherin common room, his demeanour had changed when he finally caught sight of her at the other side of the room with her own friends.
His back had only turned for a second and when he looked back she was gone. Instead, there was a tap on his shoulder.
"Hey," she smiled. "You did so well, congrats!" She looked genuinely happy for him. He didn't know how he knew but he did, and he liked the feeling of her caring for him like this.
"Thank you—" he smiled. "Did you watch the match? I never saw you." He asked curiously.
She giggled. "You were looking for me?"
He chuckled and looked to the ceiling. "Well, I assumed you would be since the library closes earlier on Wednesdays." He looked back to her.
"I was there don't worry." She smiled.
He noticed that her hands were behind her back and he looked curiously.
"Oh," she smiled as she showed him. "It's a picture I took of the game, see?" She showed it to him and pointed to someone in the picture. She pointed to him on his broom.
"So you were actually there." He joked and he was happy he got another laugh out of her. She handed it to him.
"A gift for winning."
He took it, not taking his eyes off the picture. It barely moved, it only showed him flying across the field and then it would freeze for a minute to show a still picture.
"Thank you," he smiled up at her then down at the picture. "I take it you'll be at the party this weekend won't you?"
"Because Slytherin won? Of course I will." She gave him one last smile before she turned and walked off back to her friends.
"So smooth," someone had whispered in his ear. He flinched and turned around to be met with Blaise, who stood beside Theo. Draco rolled his eyes, his smile was still plastered on his face.
"That was creepy." Draco said.
"Blaise has always been this way, you ought to have gotten bloody used to it by now." Theo joked, earning a slap on the shoulder by Blaise who sighed.
Draco chuckled. For the first time in a long while, he actually felt like actually engaging in conversation.
When his friends looked at him, he saw it as his chance. "Remember that time we were at Blaise's Christmas party, and he was rejected by—"
"—Draco!" Blaise screeched quietly, going to cover Draco's mouth. Draco laughed and held Blaise's arm and Theo giggled.

Thursday, Draco had gone down to the library that afternoon after finishing his classes early, still in his uniform and robes. He approached the counter but no one was there. He further ventured into the library and caught Y/n in an isle, she was also still in her uniform and robes.
"How do you get here so quickly?" He asked, and she jumped a little, turning around.
"I don't take that many classes so my days are free than most," she paused as she walked past him to look at the shelf behind him. "Though that doesn't mean I don't get as much work." She smiled, taking a book off the shelf.
