It was the afternoon on Friday the next day. Draco sat in his usual seat at their usual table in the library, reading the book he borrowed last night.
It would have been perfect, if Mathew and Johnathan hadn't tagged along.
"Stop reading and tell me about your progress, Malfoy." Mathew complained for the second time.
"Stop nagging." He muttered as he kept reading. He heard Mathew sigh and lean back in his seat, trying to finish off his overdue potions work.
Theo was sat beside him writing a letter, and Blaise sat reading his Charms text book. Johnathan sat next to Mathew, finishing off Mathew's overdue Charms work.
"How do you have time to read so much, Draco?" Theo asked.
Draco was about to answer when Mathew did. "He's a goody-goody that's why. He finishes his work the day he gets it." He rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"If I didn't know any better I'd say you're jealous of him for it." Blaise grinned. Mathew only shot him a death glare. The glare was soon wiped off his face when Y/n had walked by.
"Y/n!" He called for her. Everyone at the table had looked up from their work from his loud voice and looked at Y/n.
"What?" She stopped a few metres away from their table, a single book in her hand. She looked annoyed.
"How much money to kiss you?"
Theo's quill suddenly dragged across his letter and across, ruining it.
"You're done for." Blaise muttered behind the palm of his hand, looking away to Theo's letter.
Johnathan yawned and propped his feet up on the table, causing Y/n to glare harder.
Draco looked up from his book and waited for his response.
"10,000 galleons." Her lips pulled into a smirk as she was about to walk off but was stopped again.
"Be more realistic, Y/n." Mathew sighed over dramatically.
"Sorry, I should be more realistic shouldn't I?" She paused as she crossed her arms. "15,000." She then walked off and disappeared into an isle. (a.n. 15,000 galleons is around 76,000 pounds!)
Theo and Blaise laughed quietly. Johnathan only looked on cluelessly and Draco's lips pulled into a small smile at Mathew's face.
"What's wrong? Do you not have that money?" Theo asked Mathew through his laughs.
"I do so! But I wouldn't be caught dead wasting it on her!" He snapped as he got up and walked out. Johnathan hadn't followed him this time and continued doing his homework.
