OUTFIT INSPO. if not liked then
imagine something else
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·It was odd. Like the energy Carolyn was giving off was not the same. Not even with the blatant staring she had been doing for the past two hours at Genevieve who wanted nothing more than to question her about it. Carolyn raised a brow as if she knew what the girl wanted to do but before anything else could be done, she turned her head and continued to conversate with Lorraine who had seen the interaction but kept quiet in concern for her daughter.
Lorraine wasn't dumb, slow nor unaware of the behavioral changes that were occurring with the mother of the Perron family. She was just playing it safe because if she was right with how she felt and what she believed right now then it could all go downhill if she reacted in a certain manner.
But she also knew her daughter, who gets defensive like Ed in moments like these so she knew she'd have to calm the situation before something that's happened before happens again.
"I need a reload." Genevieve heard Brad mention as he stared into his empty cup before turning to Drew asking, "You want some?" He in return continued to work as he muttered that he was good and thanked him while the two looked at him as he walked off sighing to himself.
The Warren couldn't help herself as she moved to take the other spot beside Drew that hadn't been taken, she didn't wish to be next to Carolyn anymore as she was beginning to weird her out. No offense to the woman but who wants to be stared at, especially at a time like this?
Not Genevieve that's for sure.
Speaking of Genevieve, she smiled at Drew who reciprocated the action as he watched her take a seat beside her.
"Hi..." She started as she began to help him cut the pieces of paper with a spare pair of scissors she found.
Drew couldn't help it as his grin grew wider than it started when he had seen her come up to him. His night had just gotten better, "Hi..."
The two then fell into hushed whispers smiling to one another while Andrea watched from afar beside her sister with a small frown.
Andrea was aware that she liked the eldest Warren daughter but didn't know if it was right to feel that way, she didn't even know who she could talk about it with. It was weird. This was the first time she'd felt like this, with a female at that.
Shaking her head at the thought she turned her attention back to her siblings who had been talking to her about something she kind of found mindless and irrelevant. It was something about a bird, not that she cared to know, she didn't even like birds like that.
"Ed. Ed. Ed. Ed! Ed!"
Shouting could be heard, loud and clear, catching the attention of all of those that were not in the kitchen. Brad fumbled as he ran and stood near Genevieve who was the first to make it to him. He slightly positioned himself to stand beside her as him arm shook. He didn't want to mention it out loud but yes he was terrified. Drew noticing that he was afraid knew that this was no time to feel jealous, so he nodded at Brad in reassurance before he asked him, "Dude, you, okay? Brad... what's going on?"
"I saw someone." Brad moved the materials that had been hung up to dry as if he were looking for something but didn't move to far from Genevieve, "There was a woman dressed as a maid."
Smiling a little to herself, she couldn't help but ask, "And you decided to follow her?"
Drew nudged her arm and gave her a look, "Not now Vivi." He found her words humorous, but this was Brad's first time encountering something like this and it wouldn't be the last, so he thought it'd be better to give the man some comfort instead of making fun of him. Lorraine watched the two with a grin hiding it once she noticed Ed furrow his brows at the two.
Camera shutters clicking caught all of their attention once more as Lorraine pointed towards the hallway, "Ed?" She started calling out to her husband, "Ed, we're getting something."
He was the first to follow after the child who made the shutters go off with Lorraine following after him and Genevieve behind her. "It's just Cindy..." Roger explained with a sigh of relief thinking that it was nothing, "She's sleepwalking." Roger moved to attempt to wake her up but Genevieve's shake of her head and Ed telling him not to stopped him.
"No no no no no, we need this."
Making a face of discomfort, Cindy's father couldn't help but question, "Why do we need pictures of Cindy?"
"Don't worry Mr. Perron, it's not like that..." Genevieve started before she pointed towards the camera shutter clicking again, "Something's on her."
Ed nodded, "She didn't trigger it."
"What do you mean, she didn't trigger it?"
The entire situation had Roger uncomfortable, all of them knew it but if the family wanted help they were going to have to deal with this together and face the discomfort that would come.
"Somebody's with her," Ed reiterated to help his confusion. Roger frowned before asking who, his answer was responded with silence because no one knew who possibly could have attached themselves to the girl at this time. There were multiple spirits in the home, Genevieve was at a lost.
Creaks followed with a door slam had everyone by the staircase run up with a sprint as Roger called after his daughter. Drew yelled out that someone else was there with her catching Lorraine's attention as he went to Drew to listen in, but Genevieve stayed beside her father knowing if the time came, she would have to step in and use her abilities to help.
