Genevieve sat in the car as she waited for her parents to come out of the church. She honestly could have stayed home but she didn't have the heart to face Judy after what she heard in the woods. She didn't know if that was how she truly felt, like she wasn't protected or couldn't be protected by her older sister.

She also could have gone in with her parents too, who were showering the footage to Father Gordon so that he could talk to the others and get the exorcism started as soon as possible but she just wanted five minutes of peace to be honest where she wouldn't be bothered or terrified of something jumping out at her so she sat back closed her eyes as she leaned her back.

A knock on the window caused her to jolt up, with wide eyes she looked out and couldn't see anything but as she squinted and stared forward, she noticed someone with reddish hair run off into the distance. Not thinking too much about it, she leaned back again before feeling her necklace move. It seemed like it was a light pull again for a few moments before it stopped. Genevieve knew it wasn't just moving though just for the sake of it but she didn't have a clue what it could've been about (to be frank she didn't want to really know at the moment either, it was just too much).

Regardless, she didn't have much time to dwell on it anyways before her parents returned to car telling her that all might move slower than they thought it would and they just had to hope for the best. She expected it because anytime something like this happened it took forever for the church to do anything and then they'd be surprised when someone had to take things into their own hands.

Genevieve's stomach started to churn before she could join in on the conversation that was going with Ed and Lorraine who were discussing what all of them could have for dinner if the two at home were up for it, but she was beginning to feel beyond extremely nauseous. "I don't feel so well," She said to her parents who looked back at her in slight concern cutting whatever conversation they had short.

"No, seriously, I'm going to throw up right here in the car if we don't stop." She muttered placing a hand over her mouth, slightly wishing that she had stayed home so she could've been in bed instead of dealing with this odd feeling that she couldn't get rid of at the moment.

Before either of them could speak further, they began to pull into the driveway, but Genevieve just felt worse, so she opened the door as soon her father parked causing him to panic for his daughter. "Gen!" He shouted but she continued to move towards the house as if she were on a mission.

"Ed, there's something wrong!" Lorraine shouted as she followed after her eldest who subconsciously ran into the home with Ed following after the two asking them what happened but he remained unanswered.

Gasping at the sight of her Nana banging on a door with Judy's cries being heard on the other end, Genevieve called out for her parents who were quick to come near seeing what was going on as well.

"Judy, get back honey!" Ed shouted as Genevieve followed after him with a shout of her own, "Move Judes! We're coming to get you!"

Pushing the door open with a shove, Ed was able to open the door, but Genevieve was quicker to notice the chair, so she pulled her sister into her arms while her father jumped out of the way falling in the direction that had been opposite of them.

Genevieve put her sister down as she began to tear up, now knowing who could've done this after she pierced it together in her mind.

"Oh, my Gosh. Are you okay?" Lorraine asked as she grabbed onto her youngest daughter once Geneveive put her down. Genevieve shook her head muttering, "It was Annabelle..."

Judy moved out of her mother's arms and held onto Genevieve's legs afraid of something else possibly coming out of the dark. She nodded with a sob before explaining, "There was someone rocking in the chair with Annabelle."

Ed and Lorraine looked between their daughters before he moved to check into the room where the artifacts were also locked in.

When he had returned, Genevieve's heart dropped to her stomach after she heard him speak, "She's still in the case."

"That's impossible. Did you not just hear Judy... Dad come on; she just saw her?!" Genevieve shouted in between tears as Lorraine looked between a crying Genevieve and full-on sobbing Judy who wouldn't let go of her sister's leg.

Ed shook his head as he seemed to think about what was going on. No, he didn't want to disregard what they were saying but he just wanted to understand how Annabelle could've gotten out to begin with, so it was all beginning to confuse him and frustrate him altogether.

"I don't know Genevieve, I don't. I just know that she's still in the case." Ed said in exasperation before he rubbed his hand across his face, "We'll figure this out alright."

He moved to give her a hug, but she turned to Judy and pulled her into a hug instead not liking how defensive her father could be over a doll she told him not to bring home to begin with. The minute Genevieve had been introduced to Annabelle, she woke up in the hospital the following morning and had been told that she had cut her own stomach open and was attempting to slit her throat when her parents had found her.

So no, she did not want to figure it out with Annabelle. She just wanted her gone.
