After washing up really quick, Genevieve changed her clothes because she was not about to go to bed yet after that mess. She then met up with her parents' downstairs who mentioned that they had just put Judy to bed.She was in a much worse state than her older sister who wanted nothing more than to apologize for not being able to be there for her from the beginning like she should have been. If she had known something were to happen than she wouldn't have gone with her parents just to sit in a freaking car in the first place.
Before she could talk about anything else in regard to their conversation, she heard her father answer the ringing phone and then speak over it, "Roger, get back to the house now. I'll meet you there."
"I'm coming with you," Lorraine started as Genevieve nodded pointing towards her mother in agreement, "Me too."
Shaking his head, Ed gently pushed the two back from following. "No way." He disagreed at the two who continued to follow, "You both stay here with Judy and Nana."
"Not happening."
Placing his arms up as if he didn't know what to respond, he pointed towards his daughter, "I'm not taking you to the home that almost broke your arm. Genevieve Rosetta Warren, so help me, you can't come and that's final."
Lorraine huffed at both Ed's words and Genevieve's response before adding in her two cents, "The only way that we protect Judy is if we stop this where it started." Watching as Ed walked to the two women, Lorraine continued before he could speak, "Otherwise, she's just going to latch onto us again."
Pushing past the two, Genevieve muttered an apology before speaking, "I'm going." Ed moved to stop her, but he was pulled into a conversation with his wife who had a few words to bring up to him before she also followed after her daughter who had been waiting for her parents in the car.
The two got into the car and didn't speak a word as Ed drove them towards the home. It wasn't that long of a drive but trust and believe that with all that has been going on and what needed to happen, it felt longer than usual.
"You two are stubborn..." Ed commented in hopes to ease the tension. He meant what he said but he just brought it up so the two wouldn't seem as upset with him as both seemed at the house.
Shrugging her shoulders Genevieve looked back out the window while Lorraine stifled a laugh, "And you aren't? Yeah, well you should've known better than to disagree with either of us to begin with Ed."
The trio soon met up with Brad who drove with his sirens wailing as he led them back to the Perron home where all hoped Carolyn was still able to be saved.
Pulling up to the home, both cars parked as all of the four got out of the vehicles each were in and ran up to the home. Ed pulled at the door before yelling that it had been locked causing Brad to go to the trunk of his car. He took a while as he seemed to be rummaging around hoping to find what he was looking for.
Genevieve tried looking into one of the windows but it was completely dark inside with Lorraine shouting out for Carolyn before Brad yelled for the three to get out of the way. He clocked the gun in his hands before shooting at the door so it would open.
Once that was done, the four made a path inside where screaming could be heard.
"Roger!" Ed shouted as the four looked around the home even though the door to the basement was open with the light lit.
The father of the Perron family hearing them shouted in return, "Ed!" The four sprinted toward the door as he continued to shout with Carolyn's distorted shout following after, "We're down here!"
Genevieve ran forward to help when she noticed Drew's hold struggling against Carolyn and Christine but was pulled back with Brad grabbing onto her shoulders when he noticed the scissors in her hand that continued to flail around. "Grab her hand!" Genevieve yelled as her father moved forward, "Get the scissors!"
Brad placed his gun down before moving around Genevieve to help out as well. When the four men got ahold of Carolyn, the Warren's daughter walked over to Christine checking her over for injuries and holding onto her tightly. As she turned to check on April, she didn't notice her there causing her to become confused.
"We got to get her to the car!" Ed shouted just as Brad looked at him in bewilderment as he responded, "And bring her where?!"
The four moved Carolyn up the stairs listening to Ed as he explained that she needed help and she needed it now, "To take her to the priest for the exorcism."
"Where's April?!" Genevieve questioned as Ed and Roger were left dragging Carolyn to car.
Drew walked over to Genevieve and Christine and ushered them outside the home while Carolyn continued to scream. She handed Christine over to Drew muttering for him to be careful while he gave her a longing glance in return.
The screaming began to become worse than before making Genevieve stop in her tracks as she stared at the burning marks that appeared all over Carolyn's body. "She won't let her leave the house..." Lorraine started as she looked at the Perron woman in concern, "If we take her out, the witch will kill her."
Carolyn was suddenly flung back away from the two men as she landed with a thud. She was then pulled back towards the basement and before she could full on be pulled in, she shouted out for Roger who was the first to run after her.
