"All right, close the door. Move something!" Ed instructed as he stood beside his daughter and his wife who held similar expressions. Lorraine muttered that her hands were so cold causing Genevieve to reach over and put her hands over her mothers in attempt to warm her up. "Come on."

The camera moved around the room while Genevieve felt the energy in the room become lighter causing her to sigh in relief as it began to feel less tense and threatening.

Lorraine shook her head, "No."

"It's gone?" Ed questioned as the two nodded in confirmation. This caused them all to turn and make their way back upstairs before a thump was heard earning all of their attention before it was dismissed as nothing. "Well, like I said," he started as everyone walked out of the room and back to where the rest were gathered, "It doesn't always work when you want it to. Maybe the camera picked something up." Carolyn nodded and before anyone could say a word, the door creaked before slamming itself shut.

Genevieve sat with her parents and took a nap against her mother's shoulder, and before she knew it, it was morning.

The smell of pancakes was one of her favorites. Sometimes when Drew would be over at her parents house — he'd be the first to wake up and make them (with her help of course).

She sat beside Andrea who surprisingly saved her a seat but she didn't question it.

"I think I might take some girls for ice cream later. What do you say about that?" Roger announced causing all of his daughters to cheer as Andrea smiled at Genevieve resulting in a frown from Drew who sat beside her. Roger turned to Carolyn as he asked, "Honey, you wanna come?"

She shook her head in disagreement, "No, I'm... I'm exhausted. I'm just going to take a nap." She placed a plate of more pancakes down on the table as she continued, "The late nights are... well they're getting to me."

Genevieve felt bad for her. That's how her and her sister used to feel before they adjusted to their parents jobs with her eventually joining.

"That's probably a good idea. Why don't you get some rest?" Ed suggested as Carolyn looked to him in surprise, "Lorraine and I'll watch over things for a bit."

Genevieve swallowed the food that was in her mouth as she raised her hand before saying, "Yeah, plus I could help too."

"But..." Andrea started as she turned to her father for help. Roger didn't understand why but nodded as he spoke up, "Gen, you don't wish to come get some ice cream with us? If that's alright with your folks?"

She shook her head before smiling at her parents, "No, thank you though." A frown formed on Andrea's face at the response causing Drew to stifle his laughter shortly after deciding to grin when the eldest Perron daughter gave him a glare.

Brad stood up and grabbed his coat before announcing, "Well, I'm gonna take off. I have a shift starting in an hour."

"And it takes you an hour to start that car that you have..." Genevieve muttered cause Brad to ruffle her hair as he passed by her making sure to mock her words. Drew laughed at the two reaching over to fix her hair that he had disheveled.

He leaned back and gave her a small grin, "There, all better."

"Thank you..." Genevieve answered as she copied his grin, the two ignoring the rest of the Perron siblings who watched them in interest except for the eldest that scoffed.

A sigh that fell from Carolyn's lips drew her attention as she heard her talking to her father, "The house hasn't felt like this in a long time." She watched as her father glanced at her a bit confused causing her to continue, "I think the kids feel a lot safer with you around." The three Warrens didn't even have to look to one another to know that they all held the same expression at her words.

Soon after as, everyone finished their breakfast, the Perron children and their father left to go get ice cream while Ed and Lorraine were out back, Genevieve was on the porch with Drew beside her.

"I think I could get used to this..." Drew sighed as he leaned his head back in his seat making her laugh at his actions.

She pointed at the chair, "What? I didn't think of you as the type to get attached to a chair."

"No," He laughed, "At the nice, fresh country air." Genevieve nodded at his words with a soft smile but he spoke up again before she could, "I'm sorry, I have to ask... but, do you like her?"

The Warren looked confused at his words as she raised a brow.

"Andrea." Drew explained softly as he stared at her in interest.

Shrugging her shoulders, she couldn't help but sigh, "She seems cool."

"So, you do like her?" He questioned as he decided to further add, "If she were to ask you out, you would say yes?"

The wind chime began to jingle confusing the two as there had been no wind prior for that to happen. "I think she would be a good friend." Genevieve answered with a simple smile before noticing her mother run into the home causing her to follow in after her in confusion and concern. Drew wished to do the same but Ed had called him over for assistance in a car that he had seen parked off to the side of the home.

She noticed her mother attempt to talk to Carolyn but seemed to be essentially waved off with little to no concern which confused her even more.

"I think I hear Roger and the girls..." Genevieve heard Carolyn say as she walked by Lorraine almost as if ignoring her existence. She had seen this before and she didn't want to assume but it seemed as if she were possessed.
