***Avengers Mansion***

The ride to the mansion was a quiet one. After the ordeal at the Lucas residence, Shaun had sunken into a bit of a depressive state. He was silent throughout the time of packing for his stay at the mansion with the twins.

Seeing their friend in such a down state really hurt them. But they hoped he would have somewhat of a good time there with them.

"Welcome to Avengers Mansion, Shaun!" Nikki exclaimed like a tour guide as they entered the massive house.

The new surroundings were just enough to bring Shaun out of his feelings and into the reality before him.  Looking around, he took in the exquisite surroundings. High ceilings. Large rooms. And a big Avengers logo on the floor in the foyer. Really, it was beautiful.

"Its a nice place," he said not too loud. It was almost under his breath, but still enough to where everyone around him could hear.

"Yeah, it's not bad." A new voice replied.

Entering the foyer was a man with  grayish-black curly hair and his arm in a sling.

"Uncle Bruce!" The twins exclaimed, running up to their "uncle" and hugging him.

The doctor opened his arm and smiled as the two came and embraced him. Granted, it wasn't how their normal hugs were as the twins were used to Bruce being in his Smart Hulk form. But still, they loved hugging him either way. Plus now they could actually their arms all the way around him instead of just halfway or around his neck.

"Ah! It's so good to see you guys again!" He said as they slowly let go.

"It's good to see you too!" Jamie replied.

Looking past them, the doctor saw their other surrogate uncle.

"Bucky." He nodded to him

To which he nodded back. "Bruce."

Then Bruce noticed the unfamiliar fourth guest who stood back a bit. His hospitable nature came out even more.

"Ah, who is this?"

"Rayshaun Lucas, sir," Shaun said, walking up and shaking the man's hand. "But you can just call me Shaun."

"Alright, Shaun. Nice to meet you. And you can call me Bruce."

"Thank you."

"Why don't you guys introduce him to the others and maybe show him around?" Bruce suggested to the Twins.

"Who else is here?" Jamie asked.

"Oh, Betty, Sam, and Peter."

Needing no more persuasion, Jamie and Nikki took Shaun along and they found their friends in the kitchen. The reunion between the twins and Peter was great to say the least and introducing Shaun to Sam seemed like a good move. Thank goodness. Though he would've stayed longer if he could, Peter unfortunately had to depart. School field trip across Europe. Not that he was still in school. No, he was merely there as a teacher's assistant/chaperone. It might've been a job, but Peter was going to consider it a vacation. A vacation that would be far from home.
