I was ready. All packed up and ready to leave my house to see one of the most famous monuments. 'The Forgotten King's Castle' was what everyone called it. No-one knew anything about this monument, or even if there was anybody else other than the king. Not even the king was known about that well. It fascinated me.
Grabbing my luggage, I looked out of the living room window to see the Taxi I had called pull up on the path outside my driveway. I cracked open the door to let the person know I was there, grabbing my walking shoes. There was no way I was going to use any other shoes. Walking shoes are important when it comes to going around places, especially with historical places. It helps not damage anything or any part of my feet. Holding the handle of my bag of luggage, I finally got onto my drive using my keys to lock my front door. I ran to the Taxi, the wheels hitting the pavement, opening the boot and carefully placing the luggage inside. I entered the Taxi, getting safely in.
"Can you get me to Fallahow Sadala please?" I asked, getting a nod from the driver.

When we got to my destination I left the Taxi after giving them the money, all I had done was listen to my music. So nothing drastic. As I walked around Fallahow Sadala, I noticed all the tourists that came just to visit. I mean... I did too. But for research on the forgotten king.
There was a tour guide that noticed my luggage and came over to talk to me, more obvious that he had a confused expression on his face the closer he got.
"Excuse me?" He asked, his eyes glancing at the wheeled luggage. He probably thought that I was a foreigner, which is very annoying. "There isn't a hotel in this area, but I can help you out."
Fucking knew it... "Sir, no. I've done my research before coming here. That's stupid, and blatantly a lie. So leave me alone."
The tour guide walked away in a huff as I took out a notepad from my luggage, a pen being attached to the pad for easy access. I messed with the strings of my hoodie before walking off to the castle with my luggage in another hand.
"Finally..." I sighed in relief, getting to the castle. The amount of tourists and other things was annoying, okay that's an understatement, so many tents that sell stupid things. It's pathetic and sad.
The castle was still together, not broken or in shambles, an elegant castle with, surprisingly, little tourists. With the small amount of people, it was actually quite nice to look at. Such beautiful architecture and furniture. Walking over to the throne, I scanned it over. Old gold and silver, dots of emerald and ruby at the top. I couldn't get too close sadly, a rope was stopping me. I sat on my knees and took out my notepad, drawing a little sketch of the throne with notes dotted around it. I was quite proud of it when I finished, moving the pad so I could see it more easily at a small distance with a smile on my face.
"Hello there," A voice made me jump, looking over to the source to see a hooded man sit down next to me. He moved my arms so he could see the sketch and notes better. "You sketched the throne's details amazingly. All the little notes are all correct, you seem to know quite a bit."
"Um, thank you," I smiled at this random compliment, it was nice to see someone also love this castle. "I see you researched this place too?"
"Uh- yeah," The man answered, probably trying to register what I had suddenly asked. Messing with his weird looking coat-cape. I liked it though, looked old-fashioned.
"I like your cape," I complimented his outfit as we both stood up, keeping a hold of my notepad and wheeled luggage. "Looks old-fashioned, quite a nice blend with the castle's interior design."
I swore I saw the man's cheeks go a little pink. Wonder why. "My... thank you, but it is a coat of mine that I have had for years." Oh... embarrassment. Shyness? One of the two I thought.
"Oh how interesting!" I exclaimed with a clap of my pad closing, placing my pen back with it. "May I feel the fabric? If that's okay."
"Um... sure," The man moved his shoulder so it was closer to me, his cheeks still pink as my smile grew wider. Sparkles in my eyes as I felt the amazing fabric. Cotton base, and even lace at the edges. A beautiful, silk ribbon that connected around his neck, all the colours were of the royal shades. Royal blue for the base, pastel mint green lace, the silk ribbon had a certain colour of grey that made it look silver. Though I quickly noticed there was a black pattern around the bottom of the coat's base, a black, blocky pattern that disappeared in large and small 'pixels'. Quite pretty with all the other colours blending together well.
"I love your coat," I smiled brightly, letting go of his cloak. The man's face looked up to face me, allowing me to see his eyes. His shoulder-length dust blonde hair, and a small stubble on his chin. I leaned forward thinking I was seeing things, but nope! He had long, black eyelashes. "I'm Y/N, it's nice to meet you!" I stuck my hand out, receiving a small handshake from the man. "What may your name be?"
"My name is Philza," He huffed out with a nod, a small smile faintly forming on his lips. It was hard for me to notice actually, all because of the hooded coat. "It is a pleasure to be acquainted with you Y/N."

This'll probably be the only author's note for this fanfic, but yes. This is a Philza x Reader fanfic. I have a friend who wanted one like this, so I wrote it. Not a fan of x readers. But eh, let's see how this'll go. Hm?
Hope you enjoy!
