I stared at the map on my phone, my ass planted on the flat fountain's large rim. The statue's of frogs squirting water on each other as they sat on their rocky lily pads. Phil sat beside me, watching the frogs with curiosity. The crows were even more curious; playing with the fountain's water each time it squirted into the air to the other frog. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Phil's smile, so warming and calm as he watched the murder play happily with one another. Finally finding a ride that Phil would probably enjoy, I tucked my phone away after putting it on sleep mode. The faint music still playing in the background, not pausing.

"Okay, you ready Phil?" I asked, swinging my legs off the fountain. Standing up straight, I stretched a little from the realisation of how long I was sitting down hunched. I did it a lot of course, but doing it on a fountain? Nope, not normal anymore for my body apparently.

"Of course I am ready. Though I believe my crows are another answer," He mumbled a bit near the end, standing up next to me as we both looked over at the crows all preoccupied with their stone friends. It was adorable, honestly. Cutest thing I'd seen for a while. He whipped his head back to face my own, a small frown painted on his lips. "What shall I say to them?"

"Just say we're going to walk around now," I answered truthfully, not wanting to hide anything from any of them. They were too cute, I couldn't hide anything from those little crows. Philza nodded before turning back 'round to face the murder-covered fountain.

"We shall be heading around the area now my crows," He informed them all, all of their beady eyes now on us both instead of the frogs. "I am very unfortunate to interrupt your playful ventures, but Y/N here has stated that we need to get going."

I swear to my life above, all those crows slowly turned to face me. Their beady eyes now glued on me, not a single one on Phil. I thought I was going to panic, but was snapped out of it by his hand grabbing my own. Through the loud, bustling crowd I could hear the wings and caws from the crows flapping over our heads; Phil softly began to whistle, his tune ringing in my ears like a beautiful bell set for a church. A wedding.

"So my friend, where are we venturing off to first?" He asked, turning his head 'round to peek at my face. His eyes staying locked on mine for such a short second, I was almost jealous of time itself. Phil looked back at the path we were taking, slowing down so we could walk side by side instead of him in front of me. Taking out my phone, I looked back at the map to see the directions we should take.

"Down the path on the left," I looked up, pointing with the hand clutching onto my phone. The king's eyes glanced over to where I was directing us all, a smile spreading on his lips as he nodded in response. "It's pirate themed; I think the spinning barrels are a good start for you. Help you get used to the fast pace without going on roller coasters."

"How fascinating," I heard him mumble, staying at my own pace so we could stay side by side. His smile not fading; his eyes glancing around at everything he could. The steel-blue irises sparkling in the sun, it was beautiful. I was so lucky that the sun decided to come out that day. "I can not wait to come in contact with this barrel ride! It appears to be quite interestingly fun from how you have pronounced it with your small description."

"I- uh, great!" I stammered on my words, still not used to the way that Philza speaks. It was intriguing listening to someone speak so formally, but it was also annoying and difficult at most as well. Thankfully, it didn't take much longer for us to get to the pirate themed area of Alton Towers. Little games scattered around on the sides and, sometimes, in the middle, rides every which way we could see. Even a small aquatic area to see some fishies - according to the map on my phone. I looked to my left shoulder, feeling one of the crows land on it. They looked at me with a slightly cocked head, though their beady eyes were no longer unnerving at the moment. Looking to Phil, I noticed a crow resting atop either shoulder, while one nested on his hair. The hair that wasn't being covered by his cloak-like coat, and instead allowing the sun's light to dance off of his strands. Other crows had landed on the buildings surrounding us but also resided inside the pirate's quarters.

I could see passerby's staring at some of them before looking away to continue on with their day. If I was in their shoes, I would do the same. I didn't blame them in the slightest. As we continued to walk, I realised that Phil hadn't let go of my hand. Instead now wrapped around my wrist while seemingly oblivious to his actions.

"It's not far now, just a bit more walking and we'll-"

"Is that it by chance?" He calmly interrupted me, pointing to the spinning barrel ride in action. People screaming and laughing as they were whacked around on the small ride, I could almost feel Phil's hand tighten around my wrist. "How in the spectral of death are they enjoying themselves? It seems dangerous - especially their necks. Oh my, has anyone damaged their necks on that? Their heads? What about their core spine-"

"Calm down Phil," I laughed a little, feeling his worrying grip loosen around my wrist. Thank goodness. "No one's gotten hurt on the ride. In fact you can control the speed at which you spin, if that helps you." He nodded, although slowly. "Also..."

"Hm?"

"This?" I lifted up my arm, revealing his hand still on my wrist. His cheeks flushed a shade pink as he realised what he had been doing, earning a smile off of me. "I'm okay with it, don't worry. I just figured you didn't realise"

"No, I did not. Thank you for informing me," Phil responded, though he didn't let go. His eyes averted away from me, yet his cheeks were still tinted in pink. I lowered my arm back down, and his hand went down with it. Probably with more consciousness involved that time.

"How about we go on the ride?" I asked, sliding my body to the direction it was in. He perked up, looking back at me. The blush almost gone.

"Yes, I believe we shall."
