"You're trying to make me look like a fool right?" I asked the excited young crow, who only tilted their head in response to my question. "Right?"
God, I sounded needy... for an answer! The toast popping up finally snapping me out of my trance. I didn't tell him, but I put an extra piece in the toaster. It was a snack for the king; he probably needed it. Spreading some butter over all the pieces of toast, I watched as the young crow bounced their body to the point they looked like they were vibrating. Trilling as they answered my question, though now I couldn't understand the language.
"Stupid language barrier," I mumbled to myself, finishing up the toast before stacking them all on a singular plate. As the crow landed on my shoulder I walked back into the living room, where Philza was chatting with the three other guys. Like nothing was wrong. Like they had always been friends. And none of them had been through trauma... "Here you go."
"Oh, thank you very much my dear," He smiled sweetly, taking the top toast slice off the stack. His fingers lightly tapped the back side of the toast, slightly intrigued by the melted butter spots due to the slice that was underneath it, before beginning to munch on it. Tommy continued to talk, mentioning a future livestream idea to the other two brunets. I didn't listen that much to it, only munching alongside Philza with my own toast slice.
His nickname for me rang in my ears like a church bell, 'my dear'. I swear he'd called me this before, I guess I just don't pay attention much to nicknames. Maybe I should from now on...
"Hey Y/N?" Tommy's voice snapped me out of my thoughts, my head whipping up to look at his facecam. I slowly tiled my head to the side, awaiting the rest of his words. Alerting him I was indeed listening. "While my editor's.... well, editing. Me and Wilbur were just gonna do a chill stream."
"Whatcha gonna do?"
"Probably just gonna do a poll and go off on that?" Wilbur responded, I nodded along while Phil tried his hardest to understand everything being said. I giggled at his confusion, noting in my mind to teach him as much as I could. "Wanna join? You've already been kinda prominent with Phil in Tommy's near-new video."
"Really?" I gasped out my question, interest peaking. I glanced over to see Phil now even more confused about everything in this conversation, making me sigh and look back to Wilbur's facecam. "I'm not used to cameras, or streams. And Philza here doesn't even know what the fuck anything we've just said means!"
"Y/N's got a point Tommy," George piped up, fixing his hoodie up a little as he spoke. "Especially with Phil's... situation, to put it lightly. He barely understood what a camera was, how is he supposed to know any of thi- H-HEY!!"
Tommy burst into a fit of laughter as an unknown hand came into the view of George's camera, messing with his fluffy brown hair before booping his nose and going back out of view. George's eyes darted towards the person out of sight, looking as if he was ready to rain hellfire onto the unknown human that had just playfully touched his head.
"Who you talking to?" The voice was... unknown to me, but it was definitely male. No doubt about that. A faint chuckle could be heard throughout his question, barely picked up by the mic George's phone had.
"Tommy, Wilbur, and the two people I told you we had met," The brunet casually listed off his response, shoulders seeming to relax from whatever stress he once had. And instead transferring over to me and Philza. If George had told this unknown man about us, did he also tell him about Phil's past?
He couldn't of. Tommy had just told them all he knew in this current call, which wouldn't have been enough time for George to tell his friend. Even then, he's apparently well known for not being the best liar or secret keeper in the group. But who am I to judge?
