"Like the mother said, it could be pure coincidence on the looks," I answered, trying so hard not to show the fear in my voice grow more and more by the seconds that passed. I could hear Tommy hum lowly beside me. "Kinda like with you and Theseus here."
"The cloak that Philza wears is there," He spoke, earning shivers down my spine. Okay, I couldn't get myself out of this one. Phil's coat was one of a kind, there was no way to copy it exactly. I glanced down at my phone, Scrolling through the photos I had taken throughout our adventure in Alton Towers and in the castle itself, I was trying my hardest to think of an answer for Tommy. I didn't want him to be in the dark, but I also didn't want to blab on about the truth; he was always one to tell others without realising. Well, that's what I heard of anyway. Shoving my phone back into my pocket, I sighed in defeat. May as well.
"You're right, that's Philza," I watched his eyes widen, though I didn't bother to look at him much. The floor seemed far nicer than I originally thought. "He was a king - I guess he still kinda is? - and I met him when I went to the abandoned castle in Fallahow Sadala. The Forgotten King's Castle, you've probably heard of it."
Tommy nodded his head when I looked at him, allowing me to continue.
"Okay, that's good. Well I went to visit that place for research on the king himself, and, well, you can see how that turned out."
We both looked at the family portrait, our eyes both locking onto the painted Phil. Glancing back over to Tommy, I saw his eyes had wandered back over to the painted Theseus. A look of wonder on his face. For a split second he looked back at me, only properly looking at me after a few seconds of silence {despite the mass amount of casual chatter and banter from strangers around us}.
"Theseus... as you know he was Phil's son," I continued on, my voice staying soft to show nothing was of danger. That I know of. "There were also three others. His late wife Kristin, a man he took in that sadly died in his sleep - William. As well as his loyal knight, and close friend, Technoblade."
"Wait what?!" Tommy choked on his words; if he had been drinking, it would've been spat everywhere. The two of us began to walk again, away from the spacious living room and back into another hallway. The sun still beamed through the windows, allowing the light to graciously seep past them all and blinding us both in the corner of our eyes. "Technoblade? That was the knight's name?"
"Correct," I answered, not daring to look at the blonde and instead keeping my eyes locked onto the path we were treading on. At this point we had definitely lost the other three, and I was starting to feel the effects of it. At this point all I wanted to do was find Phil and give him a great big hug. I was feeling lonely, even with Tommy beside me. "His name was Technoblade, or Techno for short."
"But..." Tommy paused, recollecting his thoughts as we continued to slowly walk on by through the hallway and entering another. Seeing the next hallway, all I could do was sigh. I needed to give my legs a break, and I highly doubt the staff would let me sit down on chairs any time soon. So, despite my legs screaming at me to stop, we continued on down through the next hallway. "One of my friends is called Technoblade. That can't be a coincidence at that point!"
"You're smart," I calmly pointed out, knowing damn well who he was talking about at this point. The famous crowned pig-skinned man himself, who went by the same name as Philza's trusty knight. "Which means the theory we've come up with is possibly far more true than we thought."
"Huh? What are you talki-"
"Y/N!!" We both stopped in our tracks as we heard a voice yell my name. Turning on my heels, I was instantaneously enveloped in a warm, protective hug. I felt my face heat up when I realised that it was Philza himself who had embraced me. My arms wrapped around him as well, hands caressing his back as I was finally able to realise that he was mumbling to me in slight hysteria. "Oh thank goodness that you are alright! I was terribly worried that something bad had happened to you and Th- Tommy. Please do not wander off away from me again; I do not want to be searching the caverns of this castle like a mad man."
"I'm sorry Phil, we won't get distracted by shiny armour stands again," I apologised to him, watching his back straighten up to look at me face to face. A faint smile was now in replacement of where a frown probably was, though it was quite obvious that he was still anxious about it all.
"You really got lost over armour stands?!" Wilbur's voice echoed close to us three, making us all look towards the brunet himself. He sighed in disappointment, fingers squeezing the bridge of his nose, while George laughed a little at the thought, recording camera now in his hand. George placed a free hand onto Wilbur's shoulder, though I wasn't able to listen in on their conversation like a nosey idiot. Instead I was spun a little in my place, now facing both blondes in this five-person group.
"So, uhm, care to explain everything?" Tommy asked, keeping his voice low so only the two of us could hear it. Phil looked towards him, glancing at me for a moment before it seemed to click in his mind. Then he just looked at the floor. Poor guy. "To me at least? You had a friend named Technoblade, Phil. I have a friend named Technoblade. Whatever theory you and your lover here have thought up better be right because that's just too damn weird."
Phil's attempt at answering the question was faltered by Tommy's use of the word 'lover'. My body became that of a pencil, stiff, while he, on the other hand, was a spluttering, blushing mess.
"You do not just speak of stuff like that without knowing whether it is true or false!" He was, finally, able to word out. The blush on his face not leaving any time soon. His small, yet sudden, embarrassed response caught the attention of both brunets, as I caught the two of them walking over and stopping beside us. The king huffed, turning his head away from Tommy and instead at me. Though he looked like he quickly regretted that as his eyes looked down at the floor next. "And clearly, as of now, that is absolutely false!"
... I'm sorry what?
"This man just said, 'as of now'!" Tommy burst into laughter, embarrassing the two of us even more. The fact that Philza even thought of that idea, I didn't know how to react in all honesty. Was it a bad thing? A good thing? I don't know.
Wilbur glanced at George, obvious confusion written on his face as he begged for an answer with his eyes. George wasn't going to give him one obviously, not even he knew what was going on between us three. Which was, honestly, a good thing. Having Tommy have some semblance of an idea of what is going on was bad enough, having all three of them know? Nope, no. I wouldn't dream of Wilbur knowing yet! I was finally calming down from one situation I was thrown into, now I had to deal with Tommy's little 'lovers' joke. Just end me at this point...
