Small Little Caws

It hadn't even been a week, not even a week, and there were already weird things happening. Probably having to do with Philza, it was the only thing I could think of for it. I woke up to the soft tapping on the bedroom's window near my bed, my vision took a while to clear up from the bright lights seeping through the clear panes. Thankfully it didn't take long for my eyesight to unblur, allowing me to see the source of the tapping. I was right. It was Philza's doing, maybe. There was a crow on the outside windowsill. Tapping its little beak away on the glass. This crow seemed to be the one I had drawn on Technoblade's armour stand. Interesting.

"Hey little one," I cooed as I opened up the window, allowing the crow to hop into my house. They happily cawed at me, flying over to the desk I started walking over to. "How's Phil doing? Hasn't even been a week and he's already gotten one of his crows to check on me." I chuckled at the thought. "Did you follow me?"

The crow chirped loudly at my first question, but almost guilty at the second one. I'd guess that meant that Phil was doing well, but yes. Yes the crow did follow me at some point. I had no idea when or how; maybe when I was in the Taxi? It seemed like a plausible explanation. I turned on my PC. Waiting for it to turn on properly, I walked over to my scanner and placed my notepad on it. The crow hopped over to see what I was doing, not understanding the full potential of this, quite big, device. The drawings I made on the notepads didn't take long to be scanned, now digital pictures on my PC that showed my sketches perfectly.

I sat back down at the desk, the crow hopping back to my side. Their little, chubby, fluffy body resting beside my hand that held onto the mouse. The first thing I did was turn on Twitch and scroll through all the accounts that were streaming at the moment; I had followed quite a lot of accounts as the only thing I did was have them on in the background as I did my job. It was quite a comforting thing really, it helped me focus. Now I had a crow as well. I saw that there were quite a bit of people streaming at the moment, so I clicked at random, 'nor really caring.

"I WILL KILL YOU FOR THAT TUBBO!!" TommyInnit's voice screamed almost immediately, piercing my ears with a deafening ring.

"Ow..." I groaned out, rubbing my ears as I turned down the speaker's volume. That was horrible timing, I should really not pick at random anymore. With a quiet sigh, I got another tab out and got my blog out.

It sounds stupid but I make quite good money from it - Ad revenue, companies contacting me to do sponsors on their newest things {to help spread the word} or their old stuff {to help bring it back to the public 's mind}, collaborations do happen but those are very rare for me since I'm a blogger. Usually I have to update everyday but luckily for me, I was able to tell people of my trip beforehand so I was able to not update when I went. I'm glad about that too, I got to meet Philza and befriend him.

Doubting it would be the best idea without his permission, I knew not to say anything about Philza. He wouldn't want more people coming to invite themselves into his castle. I wouldn't either if I was him, even if I was lonely and isolated. While I flipped through the pages of the notepad, looking at all the notes I had collected throughout the whole trip, I felt the prick of something stabbing my arm. It somehow didn't hurt that badly, though it was annoying me.
"What's the matter," I spoke to the crow, though it didn't really come out like a question like I was intending. They stopped pecking me, flying on top of the PC's monitor to begin softly pecking the Twitch tab. Fast learner. "Well I guess you can watch the stream while I check my notes. I don't see anything wrong with that."

Clicking on the tab, I left the stream on for the crow to watch. Though from the corner of my eye it appeared the little bird was going to cry. I had no idea why, I didn't understand the reason. It was just TommyInnit playing Minecraft with his friends! Sighing quietly, I continued to flip through my notes before stumbling upon the sketch I had done of Philza's family portrait. I had only scanned the crow sketch, scanning this one should be okay. I could just say it was the portrait of the castle's owners, which wasn't a lie. I looked at the sketch, glancing at the notes every so often to see if they're good enough to put on my blog.

The crow snapped me out of my work thoughts, chirping sadly at me. Though there seemed to be hope in their little noises. They hopped over to where TommyInnit's camera was, rubbing their little head up against the screen. Obviously confused, I tried my hardest to make sense of what they were trying to say. Though I couldn't think of anything that would be. Unless...

My eyes averted down to look back at the sketch I had done, from my memory the son of Philza himself looked quite close to the man. Though with slight differences: ocean blue eyes instead of steel blue; brighter blonde hair than Phil's duskier blonde, though their facial structure was almost identical. Though... Theseus really did almost resemble TommyInnit. Maybe reincarnation? That would make the most sense than anything else I could think of, though people looking the same, no matter how far apart the eras were, are possible too. But how was I supposed to know? I would need help on this.

"So you believe that TommyInnit here," I pointed to the stream's screen, gaining a little caw before continuing to speak. "Is the same person as Theseus, Philza's late son? A reincarnated version perhaps?"

The small crow chirped happily, flapping their wings as they hopped over to my notepad that was now resting on the desk. I smiled at how happy the bird was on how fast I was able to understand what they were trying to get across, their chubby, fluffy, little body rubbing up against mine. I let them sit on my hands, snuggling into their own body as I lifted them up to plant a small kiss on the top of their little head.

"Seems like we'll need Philza's help on this," I spoke softly to the little crow, watching them smile as best they could to me. "Are you capable of bringing him to me? I don't want to go back to the castle again, I don't want to use up all my money. It'll be easier if he comes to me."

The crow chirped to me, saluting with their little wing before flying out the same window they came in from. Thankfully, I hadn't closed it, I kept it open the entire time for some fresh air. I smiled as I looked back at my notes, typing them into my blog's newest update. I couldn't wait to see Phil again, and it hadn't even been a week.
