Chapter 4

The next day I was off work so I decide to take the boys to see their aunt Claire. It had been a few weeks and I know she has been wanting to see them. Also their grandfather. I packed them in the car and a few of their things and headed out. It was a nice day it being warm but not to hot. Finally pulling into the parking lot and I get out and grab the baby stroller. I place Maverick and Elijah and grab their baby bags.

"Oh my gosh they have grown so much." Claire said taking Maverick and then I seen her dad Cornelius walk up smiling. I've gotten closer to him since my father passed and finally Connor was getting their as well. "Wow he's a chunk." He said picking up Elijah. We all laughed and decided to go up to Cornelius office. It was big with large windows everywhere. He had a small couch and two chairs with a coffee table and two end tables. Claire walked over to the window and was talking to maverick. "See and that's a bird and that big thing is a plane." I smiled at them and too a seat. We talked for a good thirty minutes and then I decided to go down to the store and look around I hadn't gone shopping by myself since the boys came.

The store was big and pricey but I absolutely loved it here. I walked over to the clothes area and then to the jewelry. I looked at a few wedding bands and smiled. "We have kids together wonder if he will marry me?" The thought put a smile on my face and just for that thought more flooded in. I decided it was time to go back and get the boys and head home. Connor would be home in an hour and I need to get dinner started.

Cornelius put Elijah back in the stroller and then Claire put Maverick back in. "I seen you at the jewelry looking at rings." Claire said with a smile. I blushed smiling thinking of me and Connor and our little family. "Don't say anything." I whispered. Cornelius gave us a look and Claire laughed "nothing dad." We walked out of the building and to my car Claire put Elijah in the are and I put Maverick in. "Talk to you later Claire." I hugged her and got into the car and drove home.

"Oh come on don't burn." I had the shrimp just about finished and the pasta was done. Everything looked great and I was getting hungry. I set the table and then grabbed a glass for Connor and one for me. I herd the door open and see Connor walk in. "Hey sweet heart." I turn fully around and see he had bought flowers. "Oh Connor they are beautiful." I put them in a vase with water and put them on the island. Connor went to change clothes and I went to set the table. Connor walks out and goes to his chair and sits. "This looks amazing hun." I smiled and we both start to eat.

We settled down before bed and watched a cute movie that I had to beg Connor to watch. Then finally once the movie was over we head to bed. The twins where sleeping more at night and we hadn't had to get up in the middle of the night as we did at first. I crawled in bed and rolled over facing Connor's back. "I love you." I said with a smile. He turns around pulling me in to a hug. "I love you too." He said with a smile then kisses my lips. His prickly beard made my face itch but I didn't care at the moment. I rolled over and he come closer holding me, Kissing my neck. Then we both fell asleep.
