Chapter 21

Three months had past and Jay said their were getting close to finding them. Connor and I had split up and I was living with Will and Natalie. My life had definitely changed to the worse. I still see Connor while we are working but that's it.  I do miss him but I couldn't stand the guilt I had while with him.

Today was my day off and I laid in bed all morning. Natalie was also off and Will had to go in tonight. Every time I herd my phone go off I quickly looks at it but it was never Jay or Adam. I finally got out of bed around 3 since I started to feel sick since I hadn't eaten much. I had lost quite a lot of weight and started to become a tad bit weak. I walked out of the room and see Natalie and Will sitting in the living room with Owen playing on the floor. I walked over to a open spot in the couch and sat. "How did you sleep?" Will asked concerned. I forced a smile and told him fine. I watched as Owen started playing with some cars he got for his birthday. He was laughing and making sounds. My heart broke a little as I was watching him.

"Lily." I sat up didn't realize I had fallen asleep on the couch. Will was standing in front of me. "I'm getting ready to go in." I blinked a few times and see Will in his scrubs and his bag on his shoulder. It sat up straight and ran my fingers through my hair. "Natalie and Owen went to his grandmother's house. They should be back soon." Will left and it was only me left and I decided to go for a walk. I looked at the time and it was already 4:00 Pm. I grabbed my shoes and headed for the door. I put my earphones in playing some music and get lost in the music.

I walked up to the park made my way through it and finally went to one of the benches and took a seat. I saw people walking, kids playing and dogs chasing one another or barking. A few people were on bikes and some were walking. It felt nice having the sun out. It was beautiful with a few white fluffy clouds. After thirty minutes I decided to head back to Natalie's place. I wanted to go home with Connor I really missed our little family. And I really missed him. I get back to the house and walked in. Natalie was standing by the stove. "Where did you go?" She asked as I was taking off my shoes. "Needed a walk." I walked over to her and get a glass of water. Owen was watching TV and laughing. I looked at Owen and then went to my room to lay down. "Lily are you hungry?" I didn't respond just walked to my room. Ready for tonight to be over. I walked to the bathroom and jumped into the shower. Once I was out I walked to my room . "Hey Lily." I looked up and seen Connor standing at the doorway.
