Chapter 14

Jungkook's POV

I was playing rock-paper-scissors with Jimin and Taehyung when we heard a splash, making us stop the game.

I thought that was a bit weird, thinking that maybe Hobi had jumped in but I knew he's a chicken shit and wouldn't jump off. Plus, he had to stop on the way and take a toilet break in the bush somewhere so it couldn't have been him.

I looked to where Jennie and Siri were and saw Jennie was standing alone taking a selfie. I looked around to see where Siri was and for some reason, I started panicking. She wouldn't have jumped off, she can't swim...

"Noona!" I called out in panic which made Jimin and Tae look at me confused.

"What's wrong Kook?" Tae asked with confusion.

"Where's Noona? She was just there and now she isn't." My heart was pounding in my ears. She wouldn't just leave like that without telling any of us.

"She jumped in," Jennie replied casually. "Probably got tired of waiting for you guys to decide."

My eyes widened and my heart dropped to my stomach.

"WHAT?!?! Why would she do that?! No! She wouldn't have done that! She must have slipped!" I said all panicked.

Taehyung furrowed his brows, "What's the problem Kook? So she got in before any of us–"

"SHE CAN'T FUCKING SWIM!!!" I yelled.

Everyone's eyes went wide with shock. I was in full fight or flight mode and started running towards the cliff and jumped.

Once I was in the water I started looking around for Siri. I saw her floating almost at the bottom, eyes closed and she wasn't moving.

Shit!

I quickly swam to her and grabbed her, pulling her up to the surface. She was limp in my arms as I pulled her out of the water. I laid her down and checked to see if she may have been conscious at all but she wasn't. I started CPR straight away.

I gave her mouth to mouth then continued chest compressions. Jimin and everyone else ran over in a panic and watched as I tried to revive Siri.

After the fourth mouth to mouth I gave, Siri coughed up a bunch of water and started breathing heavily and coughing.

Oh thank god!

"Noona! You're ok!" I quickly pulled her in for a hug and tears started forming in my eyes.

I can't believe I almost lost her...

I came away to look at her but Jimin quickly pulled her towards him and hugged her tight. "Fuck, Baby! I thought I almost lost you!"

My heart dropped again and jealousy boiled within me. I didn't like that Jimin could say that and I couldn't. I didn't like that he could keep holding her tight and I couldn't. I also didn't like the way he looked at her... as if she actually meant something to him...

"Why didn't you tell me you couldn't swim?" Jimin questioned with worry. "Why did you jump when you knew you couldn't swim?"

"I didn't jump... I... I don't know what happened... I was looking out at the view and the next thing I knew I was falling. I must've been too close to the edge and slipped..."

"I don't care if the view is nice, you are never allowed near cliff edges ever again. Got that?" Jimin said while holding her face.

"I'm sorry Chim..." she then looked at all of us, "I'm sorry for worrying all of you..." she said with a guilty look on her face.
