Chapter 8: Ten Years Later

It has been ten years since Ash became a Pokemon Master and the champion of the five regions Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova Regions, while he and his family have changed their last name and adapted to Kaiyo even Ash's adoptive mother Cynthia liked the name. She even made it as her last name. On the morning of her tenth birthday, Mizu Kaiyo, daughter of Ash and May, is running late for her first time as a Pokemon trainer, just like her father at the start of his journey, while Ash and his family now reside in Misty's home city. Suddenly, Mizu's fifteen-year-old brother Manaphy or "Manny" as he goes by, and is the adoptive Pokeson of Ash and May, can turn himself into a human over the years and enjoys being human as he rushes into his sister's bedroom along with Mizu's Macechu she's the daughter of Mew and Pikachu with her body looks more like Mew with some of Pikachu's features but the end of her tail looks more like a mace, Manny tries to wake up his sister but couldn't get her to budge then their half-sister Yellow daughter of Ash and Dawn stands at the door. "Can't wake her up again? Also, welcome back, big brother," she says with a smile to Manny. Manny smiles back.

Yellow looks more like her mother but has Ash's eyes and hair colour. Her hair is slightly spiked, but she lets it grow halfway to her back. She walks to her sister's bed and smirks slowly, turning to Macechu. ''Would you please, Macechu." as she looks back to her sleepyhead sister, Macechu giggles, then uses Thundershock and zaps her partner. At the same time, Manny couldn't help but try to hold back his laughter, then quickly darts out of the room before Mizu thought it was him while Yellow stood there, crossing her arms and being proud of herself.

Meanwhile, Ash placed breakfast in the kitchen for his family while Misty and Dawn watched TV. May is out in the back training some Pokemon, but suddenly, they all hear screaming from Mizu's room. May can see some Thundershock from the window, and she just sighs and then walks back into the house, "Um...It wasn't me this time, Dad." says Manny, who is getting a glare from his father. Suddenly, they all see Yellow running down the stairs with Macechu, and then they hear Mizu yelling. "YELLOW! MACECHU!... I'LL GET YOU TWO," as Mizu runs down the stairs, chasing after the two. Mizu is the daughter of Ash and May, but everyone can't help but laugh at her messy zapped hair while watching Yellow being chased.

"Reminds me when Pikachu always zaps you, Ash," says Misty, chuckling evilly at her husband, knowing the funny times Pikachu would zap Ash just for fun. Then Ash crosses his arms and pouts. "Hilarious Misty, and speaking of...Where is Pikachu?." he asks his family. Still, they all just shrug until another voice speaks up, "Oh, I've seen Mew and Pikachu spending time together in their room, Dad," says Crystal, who is the daughter of Ash and Misty with Crystal looking like a female version of Ash but has her mother's eyes she also has her mother's temper and hair colour with her hair being neck length.

"Oh well...Might as well leave them alone," says Ash as he finishes putting the breakfast on the table. Then everyone gathered around everyone, minus Macechu, Mizu, and Yellow, as Mizu was still chasing them around the backyard. After the little banter between Mizu and Yellow, they finally sit with the family. Even Macechu joins them and enjoys her food. Then, the family gets a knock at their front door, and Ash gets up to answer it.

Ash opens the door to see his brother Jaden, who has returned to Kanto with Flannery and their son Emerald to visit his brother. "Hey, little brother." he says, smiling as they both embrace each other "It's been a while...Come in alright." says Ash with a smile on his face and letting his family in the house, as the small group enters the living room everyone turns to see who it is "Hi there." They all said that apart from the offspring infusion, Jaden's family said hi back then, and Emerald went out the back, spotting his cousins playing with their Pokemon.

After ten minutes of catching up with everyone, Ash returned to remind the kids to head to Pallet Town and see Gary, who had taken over as the Region's Professor after Professor Oak had retired. Ash brought out Charizard, then Mizu, Yellow, and Crystal jumped on Charizard's back to see their Uncle Gary start on their journey while Manny and Emerald are going to redo their journey since they've done it before and wish to take part in the Indigo League one more time.

After what felt like all day, Charizard dropped off the girls at Gary's lab. They ran to the door, and all three knocked on it simultaneously. While inside the lab, Gary and Tracy were confused by the sudden random knocks at the door. Tracy went to the door to see who it was, "Hello?." he said as he opened it. "Hiya Tracy." the girls said infusion. "Oh! It's you three. Come on in," he says with a smile as the girls approach Gray, and the four of them hug each other. "Great to see you girls again," he says with a smile.

"Now I believe you three are here for your starter Pokemon and your PokeDex," he said as he clapped his hands. Then he walked over to the PokeBalls, but he noticed there were only two of them, "Oh...I forgot there were two." he said with a worried look on his face, but then Mizu spoke up "I'm alright with my starter, Uncle Gary." she says then she throws her PokeBall showing Macechu "Mace, Mace." she says with a happy tone in her face then Macechu goes to her partner and nuzzles into her neck which also tickles her. "Okay, Macechu," she says, trying to laugh.

"Well, that means you're already set," says Gary, then he gives Mizu her PokeDex. He then lets out the two remaining starter Pokemon, Charmander and Squirtle. The two look up at the three girls and are confused. Look, there are only two of them and three of them. Macechu hops off Mizu's shoulder, saying "Hi" to the two, and they respond in a friendly manner towards Macechu. Then Yellow picks up Charmander. "Hey, wanna be my partner," she says, smiling at the fire-type Pokemon raising its arms and saying 'Char' in a happy tone.

Squirtle runs over to Crystal and climbs up her leg, then to her back, and finally to her shoulder. "Guess you're happy to be my partner then," she says with a happy smile. Squirtle responds by nuzzling her cheek. "Hehe, I'll take that. That is a yes," she pets its head then. Crystal turns to Gary as he gives her and Yellow their PokeDex, "I'll still help you with the PokeDex, Uncle Gary, but I'm gonna be like Mom and catch Water types only." says Crystal. Gary nods happily. "It's fine; it's a choice of what you want to do," he says. Then they had a catch-up, with Tracy joining in before the girls all left to start their journey, just like their parents.
