The next day, Mizu and Yellow each woke up to see breakfast on a table in the middle of their bedroom with a note. The note said that Mizu and Yellow needed to meet everyone at the stadium for twelve; they looked at the time, ate their breakfast, used their mother's room shower, and then got dressed in the clean clothes left for them. Once they both got ready, Mizu and Yellow left their mother's hotel room and locked the door. They hurried to meet with their family and friends only to bump into each other from opposite hallways. Mizu groaned, but she quickly sat up and checked on Yellow. "Are you okay, Yellow?." she said while helping her sister.
Yellow placed her arm over Mizu's shoulder, allowing her to support herself as Mizu helped her. "Yeah, I'm okay, Mizu. I guess we both were in a hurry," she giggled. Even Mizu giggled too. "Yeah, we need to be more careful," she said. Then, both sisters left their hotel to see their family and friends; once they arrived, they were greeted by everyone they knew, and they had to prepare themselves for the big battle before going up against the Elite Four. Mizu and Yellow finally arrive at their stance in the arena and prepare for their first and final battle together. They both gave each other a thumbs up, then they reached for their first Pokemon and waited for the referee to start the match.
The referee declared their match to begin as both siblings threw their PokeBalls and released their first Pokemon, "Blastoise I Choose You." Yellow said as her Pokemon stood proud and ready for its first big fight. "Blast...!" it said, and then its cannons came out of its shell, readying up, "Pikachu, I Choose You," Mizu said. Her second favourite Pokemon was all pumped up and ready to go. "Blastoise, use Body Slam," Yellow yelled. Blastoise jumped into the air and tried to slam on Pikachu, but Pikachu dodged out of the way, "Quick, use Thunder Strike," Mizu said, then Pikachu charged up its blast and fired at Blastoise, zapping it with lightning. However, Blastoise still stood, "Blastoise, use Hydro Bump," Yellow said as Blastoise fired its cannons, and Pikachu was gone. Blastoise and Yellow looked around the arena, only for Mizu to yell. "Now use Thunder Ball." Pikachu forms a Thunder Ball from its tail and sends it flying towards Blastoise from the air.
The Thunder Ball made its mark and hit Blastoise, sending him flying into a wall "Blastoise...Can you still stand?" Yellow said as she looked worried for her Pokemon. Blastoise managed to stand, but then it got mad, and its cannons returned to its shell. It popped out an enormous cannon from the middle and fired at Pikachu, but Pikachu dodged it. "What...Was That?." Yellow said, then she heard Mizu's Pokedex, "It is Blastoise's hidden ability; it is called Omega Hydro Bump," it said, and then Mizu put her Pokedex away. Before Mizu could ask Pikachu to attack again, Blastoise passed out after its attack, leaving everyone confused. Even Pikachu came up to Blastoise and checked if it was all right. Blastoise nodded its head, but it couldn't continue, making Mizu and Pikachu the winners of this. Around, Yellow returned Blastoise to its ball. "I think that new attack tired Blastoise," Mizu said, and Yellow nodded in agreement.
Their battle raged on. Pikachu remained in the struggle until Yellow's four Pokemon Sandslash managed to take out Pikachu, and then Mizu used Nidoqueen. She used Golbat, but the match ended in a draw between Golbat and Sandslash, resulting in Mizu and Yellow on their last two Pokemon. For their fifth Pokemon, Mizu sends out Parasect, and Yellow sends out Persian; without warning, Yellow makes her first move. "Persian use Quick Attack." She said. Then Persian charged at Parasect, about to hit it until Parasect moved out of the way. "Now use Razor Leaf." Mizu said as Parasect attacked Persian with its move, hitting Persian head on, "Fury Swipe." Yellow said the Persians damaged Parasect well, but it still stands.
"Quick, use Quick Attack again," Yellow yelled, but it was too late, and Persian was right at Parasect. "Now, use Solar Beam," Mizu said. Then a bright light came from Parasect, hitting Persian with the beam, hitting it out cold, "One Pokemon left. Let's see who you brought with you, Yellow," Mizu said as she and Parasect were ready for anything. Yellow showed a stern and determined look on her face. She threw her ball, bringing out her Pokemon Marowak. "Quick use, Rock Throw," Marowak banged its bone club to the ground, then it whacked the rocks, hitting Parasect. The attack was too much for Parasect, and he was knocked out under a pile of stones. Yellow and Marowak were horrified. "Sorry, Mizu, I didn't know that was too much," she said. Then they saw Marowak helping Parasect out of the rubble and bows repeatedly.
Parasect reassures Marowak that it's alright, and then Mizu returns it to its ball, "Last one, Mizu, and this determines us who goes on from here." Yellow said, then Mizu threw her last ball, bringing out Starmie. "Alright, Yellow, Let's give it our all," she said, and Starmie charged in. "Starmie, use Water Gun," she yelled as Starmie blasted Marowak, but Marowak got out of the way only for its paw to get hit and lose its bone club. "Marowak use Rock Throw...And try not to bury Starmie." Mizu said, to which Marowak nodded, and it did. It moved only Starmie dodging them fine until one, then two rocks hit it, "Don't give up, Starmie, use Psi-Beam." Mizu said. Then Starmie fired its beam, but Marowak dodged just in time and towards its bone club, "Marowak, just like we practice, use Ground Beam." Yellow said. Then Marowak punched the ground and fired a solar-like beam through the ground, hitting Starmie dead on.
"Starmie...Can you stand?." Mizu said that she wanted to check but would be breaking the rules, but Starmie stood up and showed that it was all right. "Alright, Starmie, use Quick Attack, followed by Water Gun," Mizu said as Starmie did as it told, charging at Marowak, then fired its Water Gun, hitting Marowak head-on and making Marowak hit a wall and knocking it out. The referee declared Mizu the winner and said that he would be heading through to face the Elite Four. Finally, the Champion, Mizu, Starmie, and Yellow rushed over to check on Marowak. "Are you okay, Marowak?" Mizu said, then Yellow gently picked it up in her arms and cradled it. Marowak nodded to Mizu, assessing her and saying it was all right. "The battle might have been long, but you both did amazingly," Ash said, getting their attention and seeing their family and friends with them too.
The group went on the rest of their day to celebrate Mizu and Yellow for reaching the finals. They went to a restaurant and all chatted and laughed throughout the evening. Then, they headed back to their hotel rooms for the big day tomorrow, but Yellow had trouble sleeping, and her soft sobs woke Mizu up. "Yellow...What's the matter?." she said as she sat up from her bed, looking concerned for her sister. "I wanted to be the one to face the Elite Four...But now that chance is gone," she said, hugging her legs and chin on her knees. Mizu got out of bed and sat next to Yellow. "Yellow...I didn't care if I won or lost. I always look out for you." she said. Then Yellow looked at her sister, confused and puzzled, "You mean...You didn't care if you lost to me?.".
Yellow got a simple nod from Mizu. "I wanted nothing more than just to have fun, and seeing you going through would have made me the happiest sister in the world, but I got carried away," she said. Then Yellow leaned on Mizu's shoulder, "You are the best sister, and so is Crystal...But I would give anything for a rematch and see who is best out of the two of us." she said, getting a soft smile from Mizu. "When I win, consider your wish granted." Yellow smiled back at Mizu, and then Mizu kissed her sister's forehead. "Go to sleep," she said. Then Mizu went back to her bed and went back to sleep; Yellow smiled, then she followed suit and went back to sleep. Mizu did amazingly well the next two days against two of the Elite Four. Lorelei was a strong opponent, but Mizu made it past her. Next was Bruno. His Pokemon were a bit too strong for Mizu, and he managed to get past Bruno with only two Pokemon left against four of Bruno's Pokemon.
The next Elite Four would have been Agatha, but she retired from battling and living happily back at her home, so what was a big surprise to Mizu and even her two sisters, Mizu was up against her mother, Dawn, and the trio was speechless at her presence. "Mama Dawn...What are you doing here?." Mizu said, very confused and puzzled, "Well, I'm the third Elite member. Your father chose me as Agatha's replacement." she said, and then the two got ready and started their battle. Their battle was long and tiring, but they almost destroyed the stadium. Mizu looked around and felt embarrassed.
"Oh...Er...I think we went too far, Mama Dawn," she said. Then Dawn came up to her and embraced her. "Yeah, we got carried away, but what matters is that Misty, me, and your mother are very proud of you," she said with a warm smile. Then Mizu smiled and embraced her mother, Dawn, back. The Final and last Elite Four is Lace. The battle between Lance and Mizu as their struggle was more damaged than Mizu's battle with her mother, Dawn, but the match finally ended with Mizu's Pikachu. Even Pikachu earned a wink from Macechu, who was with their family and friends, watching and cheering for its owner to win. Lance, congrats, Mizu, for winning and beating the Elite Four. Mizu is ready for the championship and to beat the League's leading champion, but Mizu is tired after battling her mother, Dawn, and Lance, so she faints from exhaustion and happily snores. Her family rush to her, and she sleeps in her mother's arms. "Let's take her back to the hotel," May said with a warm, soft smile, looking at her daughter for making it this far.
