Prompt: Supporting Silly Quirks/ Hobbies

I am holding Ben hostage, apparently.

Everyone knew Ben liked fun socks. Corgis, fall leaves, cheesecakes, apple pies, Joel Smallbone, the Golden Girls, you name it, there was a ninety-nine percent chance he had a pair of socks with it. And they were really supportive of it, too. I mean, sure Joel and Vince teased him about his addiction (and threatened to block Etsy from his laptop), but they were also the ones who made a sock display with colorful thread and clothespins, so.

He wasn't the only one with weird hobbies. Luke and Vince were really into planes. Timmy loved candle making (literally anybody they'd ever met got one because he had over two hundred in different scents in storage), and Joel liked to brew beer. Mod liked to make cheese, too.

Life on the road was stressful, and their hobbies calmed and relaxed them. Not to mention, doing something you love for a living isn't always easy, and it was good to have non-monetized interests. Of course, that didn't make Timmy's candle making stuff, Joel's beer brewing things, and Mod's cheese making items easy to accommodate on a tour bus. Nobody complained, because they understood, even when they tripped over equipment. Plus, no one complained about the food and candles they got (you may have ninety-seven candles at home, but you may need more. It was a minor miracle the tour bus never went up in flames, something that had unfortunately happened to many friends).

Perhaps, the worst part of their weird hobbies was Ben's other endeavor: making gross jello recipes from the past century. Let's just say jellied meatloaf was not for the faint of heart or stomach, or anything, really.

This is, uh, more of a headcanon than a one shot, but whatever. Ooh, what name comes to your mind when you think of me? I might use it, it's probably easier than saying MalefM this or that.
