Prompt: Secret Family Recipe

Feat. everyone's favorite Zucchini and Aaron!

"Alright, my dear assistant,"Zucchini said, with a flutter of his hands.

"Why am I always the assistant?"Ben grumbled.

"Well, it's not just you,"Aaron, also an assistant, said.

"Well, you have a naturally subservient nature."

"You must, too, if you're always the assistant,"Aaron shot back.

"Children,"Zucchini said in a disapproving tone. "Now. Hand me the big bowl."

Aaron handed him a large metal mixing bowl.

"Flowa-"

"Tapioca powder!"

"Cornstarch!"

"Cinnamon!"

"Butter!"

"Vanilla extract!"

"Almond extract!"

"Shredded, sweetened, roasted coconut!"

"White wine!"

"Baking powder!"

"Baking soda!"

"Sugar!"

"Vinegar!"

"Milk!"

"Eggs!"

Zucchini stirred. When his arms got tired, Ben took over, then Aaron.

"Mix, boys, mix!"

"I am mixing,"Aaron complained.

"If you say to mix one more time, the next thing that'll be mixed will be your intestines,"Ben threatened.

Zucchini only laughed.

"Mix!"he hollered.

The batter went into a pan and then into the oven.

"Should I be concerned?"Joel asked, stepping into the kitchen.

Zucchini mixed pineapple chunks and more shredded, sweetened, roasted coconut in the cream cheese frosting. Once the cake came out and cooled, he lathered the frosting onto it.

"Eat,"he said. "It's a family recipe!"

They cautiously dug in.

"It's...it's delicious,"Ben said, realization dawning.

"It is,"Joel agreed.

"Should I be concerned?"Luke asked, between bites.

"Nah, man,"Vince said. "If it ain't questionable, it ain't good."
