Zucchini is back.
"Have you heard?"Zucchini asked, snapping the paddle attachment in place.
"Heard what?"Ben asked, sipping his apple cider. Joel leaned against the counter. Luke sat on the floor-he had peasant traits.
"Chris Tomlin is getting divorced!"
Ben's cup hit the floor, spilling on peasant Luke.
"What?"
"Holy cow, who told you?"Joel asked.
"No one."
"What?"
"Then who'd you know?"Ben asked.
"I don't. He's not getting divorced. As far as I know,"Zucchini said.
"Then who's getting divorced?"Luke asked.
"Me."
"You were married?"Joel asked.
"Yeah."
"To who?"Luke asked.
"Oh, my soon-to-be-ex is Maria Hill."
"Maria...Hill?"
"From SHIELD?"
"Wait, how do you know?"Zucchini asked.
"It was in the info dump? Remember? It was a big deal,"Joel reminded him.
"Oh yeah, right. Maria hid me in Greece during that."
"Then why are you divorcing?"Ben asked.
"Safety. That, and she's really married to her work. It just...didn't work out, I guess,"Zucchini said. His voice was sad and quiet. He looked like he was about to cry.
"You really loved her, didn't you?"Joel asked gently.
"Yeah,"Zucchini replied, his voice hollow.
